We have just returned from spending two nights (we wish we could have stayed for more!) at this fantastic very rural tranquil CL that offers great value for money at just £20 per night, inclusive of electricity.
Immediate impressions are that the Cooper family have invested substantially in high quality gates etc to enhance appearance and improve security: access is via two separate double gates (the outer one has a security lock to provide greater protection) and even with our twin axle caravan, it was easy to enter the CL which we found to have been recently mown and very appealing in appearance - generally level, very clean and tidy.
Whilst the CL is located in a very rural area, nevertheless it is still within minutes of the A64 that provides easy access to many local places of interest such as York, castle Howard etc and many East Coastal Towns.
If you need peace and tranquillity, then you would not be disappointed by staying at Pasture Farm where we chilled out for the week-end in glorious sunshine, to include the Longest Day!
Mrs Sarah Cooper manages the CL and is a lovely friendly person, with nothing too much trouble. Our CAMC CL Network deserve much more support from Members since having stayed at a few recently, they seem to be under-utilised by us Members! You know what they say. Use it or lose it !
In summary, a great place to relax, unwind and chill out. And a fab base to visit local places of interest!
Very highly recommended indeed !

I have stayed at pasture farm for more than a decade and have always enjoyed my visits. There have been various upgrades to the C L over the years, recently new rail fencing and gates.
Sarah and Jonny are a most welcoming couple.
There has been an issue with the grass mower, so the cuttings had not been picked up at my time of this visit. Doubtless it will be sorted in near future.
