To begin, you need a number to access the site, this was not given to us at booking or confirmation. The site entrance was very overgrown. The area where we were put was overhung by huge leylandii trees so therefore the ground was always damp and forever in shade.
The water tap, although close by was also being used by a permanent resident who had it permanently attached as their own personal supply.
The toilet was filthy, the door would not close and the walls were covered in spiders and other crawling insects. The hand towel looked more like a grease monkeys dirty rag and was not changed during the time we were there. The notice in the toilet stated that 'due to excessive use toilet paper would not be provided'.
The recycle bins were commendable but need emptying prior to the contents overflowing onto the surrounding area.
The much vaunted pond was nothing but a stagnant pool of green slime and a breeding ground for insects and mosquitoes.
The owner was noticeable by a constant absence and could not be contacted, if any emergency was to arrive he would have been absent the too. The permanent resident chose to leave his vehicle in the only access to and from the site and although I needed to leave to get to an appointment he could not be found either for over 30 minutes.

A very pleasant well kept site with nicely cut short grass. Very welcoming and helpful owners. A very sensible site entrance with the gate set well back from the road so that the outfit can clear the road when entering the site. Very spacious pitches with plenty of flexibility. Well presented clean toilet and future plans include a new toilet and shower block. We were very pleased and our initial intended 3 days stay turned into 6 days! Well placed for touring West Hampshire and East Dorset and also handy for a number of seaside resorts. The area. Recommended - would definitely stay there again if going to that area.

Very well kept site clean and tidy grass cut to perfection, I keep coming here every year every 1 is very friendly and helpful, there are 5 hard standing pitches and electric hock ups and there are grass standing pitches with electric. Shops are a 10 minute walk pub is close and with a friendly welcome and good food .
Over all this site is peaceful, plenty of wild life, well recommend a visit.
Site owner oversees it all, I will be coming back and enjoying my visit, thank you
