 Great little site right next to a beautiful beach backed by dunes. Mainly a static caravan site but with a few space for tourers. Facilities are basic but fine. Owner is very helpful, friendly and hospitable.

Stayed at this campsite for 2 nights in August because the other local campsite was full. The campsite is in a fantastic location – right next to Tullagh Bay, with the hills of Donegal towering over you. There is local pub within walking distance, hop over the sand dunes and you are on the most beautiful beach, and local shops are only a short distance away.
However, the campsite is tagged onto the bottom of a static site. The ground was extremely bumpy, making it virtually impossible to pitch properly and our camp beds kept tipping over. Yes the owner has provided picnic tables – which were useful because we couldn’t find a flat enough space to put our table up properly. There are no fire or water points on the tent area. Toilet block clean – but the 2 showers are restricted to 8 am to 11 am in the morning and 7pm to 8pm in the evening. Also the only washing up facilities are in the toilet sinks.
Paid 33 euro per night and had to hand over 20 euro for a key for the automatic entrance gate (which wasn’t working when we stayed) and for the toilets (which were never locked anyway).
