We turned up at this site very unexpectant. We had booked into another site, but had been let down. When we rang this site, they took us without hesitation.
When we got there it was approx 8. 15 at night. The girl on the reception was very helpful, booked us in, gave us our site map and some rules & regulations. (I personally don't mind the rules, as everyone knows what is expected, making an enjoyable stay for everyone).
There was a choice of two camping greens that we could pitch on. A large central area, or a very large, but more out-of-the-way green area. Both areas were perfect for children to run around on, but we chose the more central area.
The ground was excellent to pitch on, no problem with bending pegs, it rained all night, but all the pitches were flat, and there was no sign of muddy patches anywhere on the green.
The toilet block was a short distance away, but not enough to complain about.
The toilets were busy, but we never had to wait on a toilet or sink. There was plenty of toilet roll and working hand driers.
This was a very unexpected find, as we didn't want to stay in a caravan park, but this site also had a great tent area.
The whole site was quiet by 11pm, and has security patrolling and cctv to ensure your stay is safe and pleasant.
I will return to this site without hesitation.
