We have an on-site bar serving local ales, wines and spirits. We also have a small onsite shop selling local produce (offerings change in relation to the season and demand).
Cartref is the first campsite off the A5 travelling North West, making it an ideal stop-off on your route to North and Mid Wales

We have a modern amenities block including toilets, showers, a dedicated disabled wet room, laundry room and washing up area.
43 Fully Serviced pitches having mains water, grey waste and electric hook-up. All caravan pitches are hard standing with a grass area to the side, situated around gardens with privacy hedges to each pitch. All tent pitches also have electric hook-up, water tap and grey waste drain.
We are a dog-friendly site where well-behaved dogs are welcome on leads. We also have a dog walk with an enclosed off-lead exercise area so there's plenty of room to stretch their legs. Dogs are also welcome in the bar.

With easy access from the A5, Cartref is an ideal base to explore the attractive market towns of Shropshire and along the Welsh border for example Ludlow, voted one of the top 20 foodie towns of Great Britain; Bishops Castle, with it's two breweries, a must for those who enjoy a good pint of real ale. For those who enjoy walking there are many possibilities, discover the Shropshire Hills Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, walk along the Shropshire Way, or Offas Dyke.
National Trust properties such as Attingham Park, Powis Castle, Chrik Castle, Erddig, Boscobel House to name but a few are within easy driving distance.
Ironbridge and its many museums are only 18 miles away.
