For all these people who live in the Nottingham area which will be the nearest site to Nottingham Arena with club or commercial sites. We have just managed to get tikets to see Queen with Paul Rogers there on Friday 10th October. I am so excited we couldn't get any last time they toured which was about 4 years ago.

Thanks

Hi, here's a map centred on the Nottinham arena, and showing all sites within 10 miles, don't know if that will help

Hi caroline,

Great that you could get tickets. The closest campsite that i can think of is at the watersports centre on the outskirts of West Bridgford. Its called Holme Pierrepont and they have a large campsite. Its approx 10 mins taxi to the arena which isnt bad and there is also lots to do at the place aswell. I nipped on the Watersports website and had a look, and they only have a telephone number or email address to contact. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=2901. We have had friends stay there and they have said its good, they recently refurbished the shower according to the website.

Hope that is of use to you.

Vikki

Thanks everyone that is a real help. Thanks webbie didn't know about that on the search page thats brilliant. We are hoping to be able to cycle to the gig in case parking is a problem or at least park the car away from the coty centre and cycle from there.

Notingham arena is in the center of nottingham and the parking is terrible so we always use the park and tram which drops you of quite close to the arena.

I am not sure on the campsites i hope this helps.

Hi a little further out of Nottingham is Teversal CCC- this is close to junction 28 of the M1.

This is about 20-30 minute drive to Hucknall where the tram starts.

Sherwood Forest Caravan Parkis also quite nice, probably about 40 mins drive to catch the tram.

Thanks Webby - That search feature is really good.
