Do any of you lovely people know of any sites that are open this time of year but that also have a proper gym and ideally, a pool also. I don't care where! I've used the one at Silloth a few times but it's not really a destination for a whole week. I've tried the Haven sites but they only have pools.

Does the pool and gym have to on the campsite? Any city campsite will have a public leisure centre, pool and gym in the city. Examples like London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Oxford....etc. Or come down here to Plymouth - the Life Centre here is brilliant.
It's easier really. We have a motorhome and use bikes to get around so it's a lot better to get straight up and go, rather than dragging gym kit around.
There are some really great suggestions on here that will keep us going for quite a while! Thanks to everyone for the help.

There is a site in Shrewsbury with an outdoor 'natural' pool and a small gym, there were extending the gym last year to another purpose built one again on site, it had weights and equipment last year so I'm assuming it has got even better, now if only I could remember the name, it was behind the Salop caravan centre and called 'Love2stay' I think. Great washrooms but lots of kids at weekends.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
