Rushbanks Campsite is a family-run riverside campsite in Dedham Vale (Constable Country), welcoming campers for over 65 years. Choose from grass pitches for tents, caravans and campervans, or stay in one of our bell tents for an easy glamping break.
Our signature experience is the River Stour: hire a canoe or paddleboard and enjoy the famous Paddle to the Pub to The Anchor at Nayland, then return for campfires, sunsets and countryside walks. With clean toilets and hot showers, it`s a relaxed, friendly base for families, friends and well-behaved dogs.

Standard camping (grass pitches): One pitch = 1 tent (or 1 caravan/campervan/motorhome) for your group. £36/night for up to 2 adults. Peak premium: +£4/night on Fri & Sat (and Sun on Bank Holiday weekends). Children under 18 stay FREE when sharing the same pitch as adults. Includes 1 attached awning, parking for 1 car, and access to all facilities.
Optional extras: Extra adults (3rd+): £12/adult/night. Children-only pup tent (under 18): £6/night. Early check-in 10am (grass pitches): £16. Late check-out 4pm (grass pitches): £16. Gazebo: £6/night. Additional car: £6/night.
Dogs: £6/dog/night (max 2 per pitch). Dogs on leads; please clean up.
Bell tents (5m riverside): £95/night. Weekend Fri-Sun: 3-night min (£285). Midweek: 2-night min (£190, Mon-Wed or Wed-Fri). Includes memory-foam double mattress (sheet), 6 roll mats, light + fire pit. Extra adults: £12/night over 2 adults; children free.

Arrive by water (the fun way): If you`re coming by canoe or kayak, you can paddle along the River Stour and arrive right at the campsite.
Arrive by road: Rushbanks is on Bures Road, on the Suffolk side of the River Stour.
From Colchester
Take the A134 to Nayland. In Nayland, turn left signposted Bures. Continue for about 2km, passing the lane signed Wissington Church on your left. Shortly after a small group of cottages, look for our campsite sign and turn left through the gate. Please drive slowly (10mph) and follow the track down to the waterside.
From Bures
Take the B1508 to Bures. In the village centre, turn right by the church into Nayland Road. After about 3km, look for Rushbanks Farm on the left. Continue another 100m, then turn right through the gate to the campsite. Please drive slowly (10mph) and follow the track down.
