Description

This is an adults only site

Pitches: 10

Opening Dates: Open All Year

Hillcrest Park is our rural, 6 acre, holiday park in Teesdale, between Barnard Castle and Richmond, which is open all year round. Surrounded by farmland, it offers peace, tranquillity and beautiful views - yet is only 10mins from the A66. It is ideal for walkers, cyclists and dog owners and is close to Raby Castle, the Bowes Museum, High Force Waterfall and a host of other Dales attractions.

We have seasonal pitches, camping pods and holiday cottages - all of which are dog friendly. Most importantly, we aim to offer all our guests a peaceful, get-away-from-it all, rural retreat.

Our main camping pod area - the 'Poddery' - is designated an adults only area, although children are welcome in other parts of the site.

We also have a small 'campers' kitchen' with fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and hotplate in our amenity building. It doesn't matter how bad the weather is, you'll still be able to cook in the dry!

We also have luxury holiday lodges for sale.
Wi-Fi is available on site.

Nearby Attractions

Hillcrest Park is between the villages of Caldwell, Ovington and Winston, all of which have pubs, and is situated in the heart of Teesdale. It is only 9 miles from the pretty market towns of Barnard Castle and Richmond and is close to High Force Waterfall, Raby Castle and a host of other Dales attractions. It is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful and largely undiscovered area.

We are close to the River Tees, where you can pick up the Teesdale Way. There is a scenic circular walk along the river, taking in the dog friendly Fernaville's Rest at Whorlton.
