Family-run Golden Cap Holiday Park has a perfect position on the Jurassic Coast of Dorset, just 150 metres from the beach and surrounded by over 2000 acres of National Trust Land.
The park nestles in a quiet valley next to a stream, near the towering Golden Cap cliffs (the highest point on the south coast of England with fantastic panoramic views) and has a range of accommodation to suit everyone.

The park is ideally situated for walking and rambling over the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline and a perfect base for exploring the unique and unspoiled West Dorset countryside. Not only is the park on the Jurassic Coast, 150 metres from the beach and surrounded by National Trust Land, the whole area is also an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
The Touring and Camping pitches are in an enviable location on the park with views over the countryside and just a short distance from the beach, local pub and Park Reception.
Golden Cap has a Fishing Lake and offers a relaxing environment to test your skills. It also has a Shop which is stocked with everyday groceries, ice cream, gifts, beach toys and local produce as well as an off licence and a range of caravan accessories. Information about walks on this Jurassic Coastline is provided in our Tourist Information together with details of local attractions, Public Houses and Restaurants. The nearby Anchor Inn, just 100 metres from the park entrance and on the beachfront, offers fantastic food and drinks.
The leisure facilities at Highlands End Holiday Park (approx 2 mile drive or a spectacular coastal walk) are available to our guests staying at Golden Cap and offer a wide range of activities (Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Gym, Pitch and Putt, Tennis Court). As well as this there is a Bar & Restaurant at Highlands End and the Cowshed Cafe

Nearby Attractions
Golden Cap is next to the beautiful Seatown Beach and right on the South West Coast Path with stunning walks in either direction towards Charmouth or West Bay. The market town of Bridport and seaside towns such as Lyme Regis and Weymouth are just a short drive away plus a wide range of activities and attractions for families and the adventurous.
West Dorset is approached from the North by the M5 via Bristol and the M3, M27 from London via Southampton. The holiday routes are clearly marked and the park is accessible from the A35 Exeter/Dorchester road.
Take the A35 to Chideock. Turn off opposite the church signposted for Seatown. Follow this road to the coast and the park entrance is on the left hand side just before the beach. Please note that this is a narrow lane.
