Wareham Forest Tourist Park is a family run Site set in 55 acres of delightful woodlands with open grassy spaces and direct access to 14 sq miles of Wareham Forest.
The Site has been developed & maintained to a high standard by the resident proprietors Tony & Sarah Birch who place a high emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene
The Site with its excellent facilities offers an ideal base to explore the delights of the Dorset. Castles, coves, quaint villages and spectacular countryside with miles of golden sandy beaches await you. Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Swanage and the Purbeck hills are just a short journey away.
The site is open all year, although some services are restricted during mid & low season.
The site has 200 tourer pitches with electric hook-up of which 150 are on hard standing. Eight superior pitches, each have individual water tap and drainage; television aerial hook-up, electric hook-up & night light.
Camping without electric offers a multitude of options. We allow camping amongst the trees in the Glade or the Firs, open camping in the South and East fields woodland camping pitch areas.....your choice.
During high season the reception is open from 8.30am to 8pm and the Park gates secured from 11pm to 7am. However there is a designated late arrival area on the forecourt.
We have two fully equipped toilet/amenity blocks. Each includes disabled facilities, launderettes, dishwashing, showers and washing areas including separate cubicles in ladies areas. The South Toilet block is open all year and centrally heated in winter for your comfort

We are located on a very good, straight, large unclassified road, half way between Wareham and Bere Regis.
From the Bere Regis roundabout, take the A35 exit sign posted towards Poole, and do the same again at the next smaller roundabout 200 yards later. You now head East towards Poole for about a mile, and you will see a large sign on the left with Woodbury Cross written at the top, and Wareham pointing to the right. There is also a brown caravan sign. Turn right, and follow the long straight road for just over two miles, and we are situated on the left just as you enter the forest.
