This is an adults only site
Pitches: 5 Vans + 10 Tents
Hunters Lodge is a small Adults Only Freedom Camping Certified site located on the outskirts of the small Estuary Village of Starcross.
Set in 10 acres of its own ground, Hunters Lodge is the ideal location for a quiet getaway.
Enjoy being close to nature whilst relaxing in the South Devon countryside, keep an eye out for the owls that can be heard at night, occasional deer can even be spotted in the valley or the kingfisher that visits the lake daily.
There are 16 grass pitches measuring around 12m wide, suitable for tents and trailer tents.
For caravans, campervans and motorhomes, there are six hardstanding paved pitches, each around 12m wide with an adjacent area of grass for setting up awnings. Electric hook up is available via a pre-paid meter, with up to five guests welcome.
Caravan/Motorhome pitches are with electric hook-up facility.
Lovely quiet location close to nature.

We have hot onsite showers for your use for a small extra charge. Private bathroom with toilet, hand basin and shower.

Washing machine, deep sink & ice-pack freezer available.
Chemical Disposal Point
Stainless Steel Chemical Disposal Point.
Within a 15 minute walk you can find the Starcross train station and ferry port, along with a range of pubs enjoying views over the River Exe. Dogs are welcome too!
Nearby Attractions
Ideally located near the National Cycle Network with easy access to explore the surrounding area. Dawlish Warren Beach is nearby with its nature reserve, ideal for a long stroll.

By Bus: Bus Stop end of Staplake Lane, walk 200m along Staplake Lane, we are the last entrance on the left.
By Rail: Nearest Train Station is Starcross, walk along New Road until you see the sign for Staplake Lane on the right, walk 200m along Staplake Lane, we are the last entrance on the left.
