Nearby Attractions
We are ideally placed for exploring the rugged beauty of Dartmoor with its spectacular views, hidden villages, streams and waterfalls. In the other direction are the lively beaches and attractions of Torquay and the English Riviera; Teignmouth, Dawlish and the Exe estuary; Elizabethan Totnes, Dartmouth and the picturesque coves and villages of the South Hams. On a rainy day we are within easy reach of the shops of Exeter and Plymouth, and close to Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts, Kent's Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village, Woodlands Adventure Park, Crealy, Pennywell Farm, Plymouth Aquarium and a host of others. And wherever you are you are never far from a lovely old Devonshire inn where you can join the locals for a drink, a chat and some delicious home cooking.
