Hale Farm is a working, family run farm situated in 56 acres of peaceful,rural Sussex countryside.We offer spacious camping and glamping, in a beautiful location and the opportunity to meet our farm residents.
If glamping is more your thing relax and unwind in one of our beautiful, Luxury 7 metre Bell Tents.Set in our stunning 9 acre wildflower meadow you really will feel like you have escaped everyday life! Each Bell Tent has its own private bathroom. Our utterly charming Plankbridge Shepherds Hut provides a romantic getaway for couples. It is beautifully equipped for everything you will need for a memorable, relaxing stay.
Our campsite is a great place for families, walkers, cyclists & holiday makers! Situated along the Weald Way at the head of the Cuckmere Valley, it is the perfect location for exploring the South Downs Country Park, The High Weald and the Sunshine Coast by car,cycling or walking.With beautiful views, and an adjacent footpath which links us to the Weald Way where two excellent local pubs and a tap room offering good food&drink(The Six Bells,The Gun and The Gun Brewery Tap Room )can all be walked to.
During your stay meet Oreo & Bailey our friendly donkeys and Tilly & Ted our lovely ponies. See Lily and Fern our adorable micro pigs lying in the sunshine or rooting around in the soil.Enjoy visiting our free range chickens, geese, turkeys, peacocks and resident ducks.Watch our pedigree flock of Lleyn sheep grazing across the farm. The farm is open every morning from 9-11 am for you to meet the animals.There is no additional charge to visit the animals.
Our free range eggs,sausages,bacon and burgers are available to buy so you can have fresh produce for breakfast!Any other produce ,essentials and an excellent cafe can be found at our local village shop.
Campfires are welcomed and each pitch has its own fire pit for you to use.Logs,kindling and fire starter packs are available to purchase, to make for a perfect evening under the stars.
Our flushing toilets and gas fired hot showers will ensure you have as comfortable a stay as possible. We also have undercover washing up areas and provide standpipes for fresh, mains drinking water.
There are no hidden costs to camp we simply charge £14 per adult per night, children from 3-16 years old are £6 per night and children under 3 years old stay for free.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. Groups of more than three teenagers must be accompanied by an adult.

From A22. Turn North off the at the Esso garage in Golden Cross to Muddles Green.In Muddles Green turn right and after 300 yards turn left into Scrapers Hill. Proceed along this for about two thirds of a mile and Hale Farm is on the right hand side.
From Horam take the road South to Eastbourne. After about 1/2 mile turn right just before the May Garland Pub. After 3/4 mile turn right again in front of a converted last house,signposted Chiddingly. After about 1 1/2 miles Hale Farm can be found on the left hand side.
