Nestled in Robin Hood‘s North Nottinghamshire Trentfield Farm is located on the banks of the River Trent in the quiet hamlet of Church Laneham, an old estate village of the Bishop of York which is steeped in History.
We are a caravan and camp site that‘s ideal for visiting Sherwood Forest, The city of Lincoln, Sundown Adventureland and Clumber Park. We work on a good old fashioned policy of a traditional Caravan and camping site, but with all the mod cons and excellent customer service.
No good caravan or camping site should be without a local pub, the Bees Knees is a short walk down through the village, and is both dog and child friendly. It serves a good range of food. The local shop is a 5 minute drive or 10 minute cycle away which has provisions of papers, milk, and freshly baked bread!
Thanks to this site and its customers comments we are continually updating and improving the park.
A Comprehensive Information pack given on arrival giving lots of suggestions of what to do when your here.
Our tariff starts at £10.00 for a single backpacker up to £24.50 for a serviced pitch including 2 people, electric and an adjacent water tap.
Everybody is welcome, they be in a small tent or large caravan with awning. There is plenty of room for children to play, without disturbing the tranquillity of our other customers.
We are the ideal base for your caravan or camping holiday in Robin Hood country, with more than 2 weeks visiting not to far away for the young and not so young alike.
Local attractions include Sherwood Pines, Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest and visitor centre, Historic Lincoln, Sundown adventureland, Rufford & Clumber Parks, The Major Oak, Hodsock Gardens, Doddington Hall, Pureland's and the very tasty Thaymar Ice cream to name but a few.
There is river fishing on site, a nearby pond and we have 4 excellent golf courses nearby.
For those who enjoy cycling, you will not be disappointed with miles of country lanes.
