Hawkshead Hall farm is a picturesque working farm set in 100 acres of unspoilt countryside in the heart of the Lake District. Just a quarter of a mile from the village of Hawkshead linked by a footpath from the site through the fields. The campsite has superb views on all sides of the surrounding area. There are lots of great walks from the doorstep and an abundance of wildlife: deer, foxes, squirrels, swallows, curlews along with some friendly farm animals.

Hawkshead Hall Farm offers fully serviced electrical hook up pitches.

There is a modern toilet/ shower block with: shaving points, hairdryers and electric sockets. A separate room with sinks for washing up along with a fridge for freezing ice packs, and laundry facilities to wash and dry your belongings.

Pitches are unallocated, clients choose where to on arrival. Booking is advised.

Nearby Attractions

Nestled in the Vale of Esthwaite deep in the heart of Beatrix Potter country lies the village ‘Hawkshead‘ situated 2 miles west of Lake Windermere and aptly named ‘the prettiest little village in the Lake District‘.

Visitors will find a wonderful mixture of the historic and picturesque; whitewashed walls contrast against narrow cobbled streets adorned with hanging baskets aglow with a profusion of colour.

The pubs are not only friendly but offer some tantalising fayre to whet the appetite. A tremendous community spirit can be found in Hawkshead Village one that will keep you coming back for more, time and time again.Other activities nearby include: fishing, Go Ape in the Grizedale forest, horse riding and boating.
