Owned and operated by the Heath Family, the award-winning Hillcroft Park is set in the beautiful Ullswater Valley, and offers year-round holiday accommodation to suit every taste and pocket. Sitting above the pretty lakeside village of Pooley Bridge, we offer traditional camping, camping pods, new for 2021 Glamping Pods, luxury lodges and holiday homes plus three fully-equipped, year-round self-catering cottages.
With two dedicated camping fields, camping at Hillcroft Park is a really lovely choice. Camping field Angle Tarn is set amongst our Camping and Glamping Pods, so if some of you are traditional campers but perhaps other family members prefer something more substantial over their heads then this is a good option.
Camping field Crummock Water is a little further into the park but still conveniently placed for our shower and toilet facilities. Here youll find plenty of space for little ones and from certain pitches you can see across to Ullswater and the surrounding fells.
Set at the top of Hillcroft Park looking out over the site and across towards Ullswater is the Buttermere Touring Super Pitches. Enjoy a morning cup of tea as the sun rises over Barton Fell immediately behind Hillcroft or perhaps treat yourself to something a little stronger as it sets behind Dunmallard.
These ‘Super Pitches are all hardstanding with generous space around each pitch to set out chairs and tables to enjoy the very best of Lakeland weather.
CAMPING FIELD Crummock Water
Pretty camping field Crummock Water is set further into the park adjacent to the shower and toilet facilities. Here youll find hardstanding pitches with electric hook up around the edge, with views across to the lake and the Ullswater Valley beyond from some pitches.
From the M6 junction 40 take A66 to Keswick. After 1 mile take a left onto A592, Ullswater. At the lake turn left to Pooley Bridge, bear right at village church, then go straight over at the cross roads, the park is 100m on the left.
