In the heart of the Cairngorms and open all year, Glenmore is perfect for those who wish to ski during the winter. The views from the site are spectacular and local native wildlife includes deer, otters and golden eagles. If youre very lucky, you might even spot a rare pine marten. Glenmore Forest also contains one of the few remaining pockets of ancient Caledonian Pinewood and major conservation work is being undertaken to preserve this important habitat. Ranger Activities are available on the site. There are many scenic walking and cycling trails that can be accessed directly from the site, as well as the beach on the shores of Loch Morlich. The town of Aviemore is a 15 minute drive away and has a good selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and a supermarket. Premium pitches are available and dogs are welcome on the site.
