We are a small friendly campsite, situated in a wooded valley in Exmoor National Park with the West Lyn River running through the Park. Its a wonderful site to relax listening to the waterfalls and River flowing past or try your luck at catching one of the many brown trout that live in the River. All guests benefit from free fishing onsite.

The Park is the closest campsite to both Lynton and Lynmouth town centres. Just a short 10 minute walk will see you in the heart of Lynton where you can jump on the wonderful Victorian Funicular Cliff Railway to get you down with Lynmouth.

Right next door to the campsite is the wonderful Cottage Inn Public House & FatBelly Brewery (A small Craft Brewery that produces Cask Ales and recently more modern Craft Beers). The Cottage Inn is also home to Nartnapa Thai Restaurant, which has amazing food! It is rated the number 1 restaurant in Lynton by TripAdvisor. They also cook a wonderful traditional roast dinner on a Sunday.

This area is a walkers paradise as the South West Coast Path, Coleridge Way, Two Moors Way & Tarka Trail all converge in the towns. Other shorter walks from the site include the Watersmeet walk (as walked by Julia Bradbury in 2017 in her ITV show Britains Best Walks) and the Valley of the Rocks.

Lynmouth Beach is within 1 mile (accessed via the amazing Funicular Railway) but there are lots of other small coves and beaches tucked away just waiting to be explored. Our friendly staff will provide you a map of these on arrival.

The toilet blocks clean and well maintained offering hot shower. The site also has a cafe which serves a freshly cooked breakfast at the weekend and daily in peak periods, a small shop onsite, a washing up area and laundry room with washing machines, tumble dryer, spin dryer and ironing board (laundry room facilities are at an additional cost).

As well as motorhome, touring and camping pitches, we also have a range of self catering accommodation options, from cost effective static caravans to stunning riverside lodges.

This is truly a lovely site in a stunning area, a great pub & restaurant on the doorstep yet a short walk into town & to the beaches. We look forward to welcoming you!

Nearby Attractions

The local Lynton Cliff Railway, linking Lynton and Lynmouth, is a must. The harbour and waterfront at Lynmouth is stunning. Many visitors grab a drink and/or fish & chips and sit on the harbour wall watching the world go by!

There are too many local walks to list but amongst them is the South West Coastal Path, Coleridge Way, Two Moors Way, Watersmeet and the Valley of Rocks.

Steam railways run at Woody Bay and Minehead.

Numerous National Trust sites around the area. Naming just a few are the towering cliffs and coves at Heddon Valley, Arlington Court, Dunster Castle & Dunster Mill .... or take a boat trip out to Lundy Island.

In the towns of Lynton and Lynmouth there is a wonderful selection of shops, cafe's, pubs and restaurants. You really will be spoilt for choice!

We are situated on B3234 between Lynton and Lynmouth.

From Barnstaple on A39 turn left at Barbrook onto B3234 and we are about 1100 meters on the right just before the Cottage Inn.

From Minehead on A 39 turn right at Lynmouth onto B3234. We are at the top of the hill about 1100 meters on the left just past the Cottage Inn.
