We are an ideal centre for exploring the West Country with the Quantocks Hills and Exmoor on our doorstep. We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty and are lucky to have the best of both worlds with spectacular scenery both inland and along the coast.
Minehead, our main seaside resort, is only twelve miles away. Bath, Bristol and Exeter are within easy striking distance, together with Wookey Hole, Chedder Caves, Longleat and the Fleet Air Arm museum. All of which offer an entertaining day out for the family. Sea and fresh water fishing and steam train excursions are all available locally.
From the North, leave M5 at Bridgwater (J23 or 24) and take A39 towards Minehead for 17 miles to West Quantoxhead. After passing The Windmill pub and Texaco garage on left, take first right signposted Doniford (B3191). Entrance is the first right (half a mile) between a black and white lodge and a farmhouse. The wooded drive is a mile long, beware the speed ramps.
To approach from Taunton, take A358 towards Minehead for 17 miles. At Williton, take A39 towards Bridgwater and after approx 2 miles take sharp left hand turn signposted Doniford (B3191). From here follow directions above.
