Ladycross Plantation is a tranquil and peaceful site set in 30 acres of mature woodland within the North York Moors National Park. Situated only 1.5 miles from the Village of Egton and 5 miles from the historic fishing port of Whitby is ideally suited to explore the picturesque Northeast coast, Heartbeat country, North Yorks Moors Steam Railway and the many beautiful villages in the area Ladycross is a fairly level site with grass, hardstanding and fully serviced pitches available. We do take small tents in low season. The park has its own nature walk through the woodland ideal for gentle strolls and exercising dogs.

• Under floor heating throughout • Spacious showers with free hot water and hygienic infrared 'no touch' controls • Private cubicles and private disabled shower facilities • Hair dryers and shaving points • Laundrette with washing machine, tumble drier and sink with baby changing facilities • Vegetable preparation area and chemical disposal points at both amenity blocks • Park reception and shop with well stocked leaflets of local attractions, a selection of local provisions including fresh milk, bread, eggs, ice creams, drinks, Calor gas and newspapers. • Book exchange library available. • Electric hook ups, 10amp, 240 volt. • Family owned and run. • Five fresh water and waste disposal points around the park • Awarded the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award.

A169 Whitby to Pickering northbound has steep down hill 1 in 5 on approach to Sleights. Continue on A169 to roundabout with A171 and turn left.
Danger! Do not follow left turn off A169 in Sleights signpost Grosmont, Egton. It is dangerously steep.
