This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes (no tents) and is for Club Members only - you can usually join on arrival.
We designed the site for maximum privacy within your caravan, is maintained to a very high standard and won many awards. The price includes the hire to EVERY caravan, fresh water system and grey waste connection making your stay even more relaxing. Electric is metered and the average cost during the main season is about £1.50 pn. Our main aim is that our visitors relax in the quietness of the countryside, watching the wild life and listening to bird song. The advantage is that the site is situated in a quiet lane 5 minutes walk into the village of Deeping St. James with pubs, local shops, post office, bakery and leisure centre. The lovely, 3 mile round river bank walk, can take you from the Site down into Market Deeping, which offers supermarkets, restaurants, individual shops. There is also a nature reserve which is within walking distance. The surrounding area and villages are very much like the Cotswolds, and is ideal for walking and cycling.
Ideal for visiting Stamford, with its beautiful historic buildings, and Friday Market, Burghley House which have 'Proms and Concerts in the Park',(June and July) and Horse Trials (1st weekend Sept). Spend a day at Rutland Water. Visit Peterborough City and Cathedral, Spalding, Aschoughfee Hall, Springfield gardens and Outlet. Visit the small town of Bourne, walk in Bourne Woods, and around Grimsthorpe Castle. Central for many historic Air Museums, N.T. properties, Belton House, Anglesey Abbey,& Peckover House. Lincoln, Cambridge & Leicester are an 1 hr away, Why not take advantage of the fast train into London from Peterborough (25 mins to station from site, from 45 mins. into London) Spend the day and see a show in the evening, arriving back to Peterborough late evening. Directions DO NOT USE SATELLITE NAVIGATION as it directs you through the narrow village roads. From Stamford A1175(old A16) at the Market Deeping ('Welland Gate) roundabout take 1st exit onto dual carriageway. In 1m at roundabout take 2nd exit onto A1175 (Boston Spalding). In 2.5m turn R onto B1525 (sp Deeping St. James). In 1.5m at Frognall (immediately after village sign) turn L (sp B1166 Crowland) into Hards Lane. In 0.5m continue R into Custom Road. In 0.5m at crossroads turn R on to B1166 (sp Deeping St. James). In 0.5m turn R into Back Lane. Site on R in 350yds; 142:TF164095
