Slapton Sands is the perfect place for a family holiday. Lovely sea views and a predominance of tents (only eight caravans are allowed) give a relaxed feel. A shingle beach is very close, with sandy ones on each side.
The shingle beach at Slapton Sands separates the sea from a fresh water lagoon, Slapton Ley. This is a National Nature Reserve.
