Pinewood is a small, quiet, family run site, situated less than 2 miles from Scarborough town centre, so within easy walking distance, yet surrounded by stunning open countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds.
Pinewood is set out over 7 acres. There is a separate caravan and area with 6 spacious pitches with lawned grass between.
There is a camping field with 14 well spaced out tent pitches, all with electric hook (metered) if desired.
Another area to Pinewood is 'Camp Pinewood' which has 20 Tipis, Camping Cabins, Camping Shacks, Western Wagons, Tipi Lodge with Wood Burning Hot Tub & Luxury Glamping Lodge With Jacuzzi Hot Tub. Great for a holiday with a difference.
Couples, families & friends all enjoy this unique camping experience.
The Tipis have raised wooden floors, electric heaters & futons. They are very spacious, yet cosy, & sleep 2 adults & 2 children. They are environmentally friendly, so you can enjoy a break away, safe in the knowledge that you are not harming the natural world.
They are set near a wooded area, and families can enjoy dressing up, playing hide and seek, and all sorts of traditional games that they don't get chance to play.
Couples can enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set - it's very romantic.
Each Tipi has its' own picnic bench, and you are welcome to bring your own BBQ.
The toilet and shower blocks are very modern and very clean and centrally located.
Pinewood is available to hire exclusively for weddings & events.
As Pinewood is so close to Scarborough, we are the perfect base to visit this beautiful seaside town.
Scarborough has 2 wonderful beaches, Peasholme Park, Scarborough Castle, casino, pubs, clubs and restaurants and great family attractions and shops.
Other nearby attractions in North Yorkshre are easy to tavel to from Pinewood - Flamingo Land theme park, North Yorkshire Moors Steam railway where scenes were shot for Harry Potter, Eden Camp, Filey, Bridlington, Whitby and Heartbeat, visit where The Royal is filmed, castle Howard where Brideshead Revisited has just been filmed and lots of quaint Yorkshire villages.
There's plenty to do, whatever your interests are - walking, cycling, surfing, bird watching, train spotting, painting, shopping, relaxing, historical walks and buildings etc

We are quite easy to find as we are on the main Scarborough to Pickering Road (A170). There are no little farm lanes or side roads to go down.
From the A64: after Staxton roundabout, approx 3 miles from Scarborough,at the next roundabout take the 1st exit (Seamer, Ayton) onto Main Street, Seamer. Drive through Saemer village. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit,(straight on). Take the first right onto Irton Moor Lane. Carry on and at the top of the road, turn right. Carry on up the hill for a couple of minutes and we are on the left - immediately aftr the speed limit change sign.
