The old fishing village of Ferryside with its golden sandy beach, still a main cockling industry in Wales. Look over the estuary at Llanstephan with its 12th Centuary Norman castle built on a hill overlooking the Towy River.

The National Botanic Gardens of Wales is approx. 15 miles away. Carmarthen Market town is 10 miles away. Interesting and ancient town with new shopping areas. The Dylan Thomas Boathouse is situated in Laugharne which is 21 miles away.
Llanelli town is 9 miles away with out of town shopping area close by. Kidwelly has a train station where you will find trains to Swansea, Cardiff and beyond, also to Carmarthen Haverfordwest and Fishguard Port
