If you are travelling from Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham or London, take the A5 road from Llangollen towards Bangor. After 7 miles you will come to a right turn, signposted "Carrog" Turn right here, Station Camp Site is 300 metres on the left.
Nearby Attractions
There are many excellent walks in the area, including on the Berwyn and Llantysilio Mountains. Also many pretty lanes for cycle rides. We are a convenient base for visiting National Trust properties and gardens, with Bodnant Gardens, Powys Castle, Chirk Castle and Errdig all easy driving distance. Llangollen is also an easy distance, with all the attractions of that holiday town, including Plas Newydd, canal boat rides and of course Llangollen Steam Railway. Every July the International Music Eisteddfod is held in Llangollen, with a colourful parade and events daytime and evening for a whole week.
