NORTH on A1: Leave at small Tuxford sign. Slip road becomes a 30 m.p.h. road. Follow to give way at centre of village. Turn right. Follow A6075 from village centre, pass under A1 bridge. Eventually road rises slightly as you pass over railway bridge. Park entrance is 150 yds on left after crown of the bridge.
SOUTH on A1: Drive past Markham Moor junction. Leave A1 at brown Tuxford Local Services sign. Slip road bends to left to a give way. Bear left and follow to T junct. Turn right. Follow A6075. Eventually road rises slightly as you pass over railway bridge. Park entrance is 150 yds on left after crown of the bridge.
The historic city of Lincoln with its magnificent cathedral is within easy reach as is the historic town of Newark, often referred to as the 'gateway to the north'. Edwinstowe and the world famous 'Major Oak' are literally on the doorstep. Tuxford itself boast various shops, a fully working windmill with tea rooms, take away food outlets and pubs, the nearest of which is only 100 yards from the park! For those who appreciate real ale, The Pheasantry brewery and visitor centre is located close by on the A57.
