For days out, the sandy Lincolnshire coast is no more than a 30-40 minute drive away. There are quiet places and nature reserves to be found or traditional seaside resorts like Skegness or Cleethorpes to entertain you. In the opposite direction is the city of Lincoln which has one of the Englands best cathedrals, a castle, easy shopping and a riverside waterfront plus all the usual things found in a bigger town. For families Rand Park Farm is where my children love going but there are many other things to be found including a great little zoo in Cleethorpes whose owners camp with us from time to time. I can recommend that too.
There are also a number of other attractions in the area including Cadwell Park motor racing circuit just three miles away which hosts various events and track days throughout the year.
