 I arrived very late at 22:03 just as reception was closing, but they let me stay on a promise to pay the next morning, which I did. There is a big metal security gate closed when reception shuts.
Three toilet and shower blocks, which varied in their maintenance standards, I would guess because they were built at different times. The laundry was very handy.
There is a bar and restaurant with outside seating. You can get breakfasts from 08:30. Dinner is basic food but with big portions, handy when you are cycling.
There is a riverside sandy beach close by and a walking a cycling route along the river right into the historic centre of Burgos. If you are arriving by train, do note that Burgos station is a new one, a long way out of the city centre, but there are cycle paths almost up to the front door.
There is a Mercadona supermarket about 10 minutes walk away to the north of the river.
The site is out of town so very quiet at night, being far enough away from local roads not to suffer traffic noise.

This all-year municipal site is set in woodlands on the edge of Burgos, which can be visited by bus or bicycle along easy paths.
There's a small shop and a busy cafe/bar at the entrance, as well as a restaurant where we had a generous Weekend Menu lunch by a log fire.
English-speaking staff were helpful and advised parking with front wheels on the drive, as the soft grass pitches were waterlogged.
Just one toilet/shower block open but it was clean and (best of all) well heated, with good hot showers. ACSI discount card applied off-season.
Free WiFi only operated around the cafe and restaurant area.
The nearest 6-amp 2-pin hook-up point was held together with Duck Tape and didn't work but a longer lead reached the next one, which looked newer.
Re-investment is needed to provide hard-standing pitches and a safer electrical system throughout the campsite.

Very helpful staff. Good bus link into Burgos.
Some muddy patches on the site and pitches were close together with no dividing greenery.
Wi-Fi could only be accessed from the Reception and bar area. A weak signal.

Nice reception from English speaking lady.
Good facilities which were very clean.
Pitches were on grass only, some areas were quite muddy but this was in December and there had been a lot of rain recently.
Site close was easy to find and not far from centre of Burgos.

Nice enough site. Easy access to Burgos via bikes.
Lots of rain the night before our arrival and on the day we left so site a little muddy in places.
Disappointed in the pool as it is advertised as ‘fully equipped’ but is really just a kids pool (0. 6 metres depth at one end and deepest point 1.00m.
Facilities rather basic and in need of some maintenance but all in all a handy site for visiting the city and surrounding area

As others have said pitches can be muddy, just scout around for a dry one.
Reception open 8am / 10pm bar and good restaurant on site.
Either cycle / walk along good path into Burgos or catch bus outside entrance. €1. 20.
Toilets & showers clean and good.
Cost €25 with Acsi card.

Ideally placed for an overnight stop when travelling south through Spain.
Grass pitches were soft and a bit muddy. Just have to try and pick a firm one.
Toilets and showers clean and heated.
Cafe and shop were open but didn’t try them so can’t comment

Nice shady pitches, and good facilities, inc laundry which we used. £4 token for washing machine and the same again for dryer.
Booked online & as website said reception closed at 8pm we had a 2 hour mercy dash from Leon and then found it was open til 11pm!
There is a restaurant and bar but we didn't use them.
In common with many sites we found, very few bins except big ones outside the gate, with recycling too. But nothing at the dishwashing area, which can be a bit awkward.
£31 a night with electric.

This is the best equipped Municipal Site we have stayed on. Whilst the buildings and cabins may be dated and slightly industrial in appearance look past that and it has some huge plusses.
Heated shower block
Very hot showers
Quiet location
Flat generous pitches
Fire extinguisher every 4 plots
On site bar and cafe
Meals cooked at night
Near numerous cycle paths
Bus into town from outside camp
Walking distance to town 7km
On site shop, albeit poorly stocked when we stayed.
Fresh bread daily
I would use this site again especially if using Santander or Bilbao ports.

Lovely site, great for a stopover on the way to catch the ferry in Santander, only 2. 5hrs away.
Our caravan Satnav brought us straight to the door from Zaragoza.
They have all grass pitches which don't drain too well if wet, but other than that, great!
Most powerful showers we have used and facilities very clean, even if they look a little industrial from the outside!
Lovely bar/restaurant on site and very friendly staff.
Check in was very easy, very good English spoken.
€25 per night including 16amp electric - very reasonable.
