 We chose this site from the ACSI book for an overnight stop on our way north, it is not too far from the autoroute. It was easy to find with the satnav.
It's a large site centred round a lake with lots of trees, a huge variety of accommodations in a number of different areas, some pitches with private sanitary facilities.
The young people at reception didn't seem terribly interested in us, allocated a pitch in a large paddock, which only had trees round the outside, our pitch was in the middle and it was very hot. The grass in our area was quite long, and although the man came with the mower, he only cut the grass that had already been cut.
Eventually I went back to reception and asked to move to a shadier area, gave them the pitch number and they agreed. Unfortunately the electric didn't work so back I went again. The girl came over, and said we were trying to connect to the wrong post, although she had pointed out the correct post for the first pitch, she didn't for the second.
As there were no pitch numbers marked on the electric posts, and the post for this pitch was a long way away, we didn't know. We did have just enough cable for this post.
The sanitary block was far enough away for us to use the bikes to go. There are separate sex toilets, showers and basin cubicles are shared.
There are only 3 toilets in the ladies, scarcely enough for the numbers there. Washing up is in an annexe outside the ladies toilets. The water was cool, we tended to fill the bowl from the sink in the ladies area. Showers were better.
The facilities were hosed down in the morning whilst people were trying to use them so everything was wet and the floors soon became muddy.
We had a cycle round the site, it's very attractive under the trees by the lake, quite different from the basic touring area.
We didn't take to this site, though it was ok for the 1 night.

Not much to add to the review that was done in September 2022.
Liked the site, the welcome and the local area.
Would recommend it using ACSI at 17 Euros per night. Such good value.
Will be returning.

An excellent municipal site to use as an overnight stay. Facilities clean and adequate but only Luke water for dishwashing.
Pitches well spaced out both grass and hard standing. You do need a French to English adapter for electrical 10am please hook up.
Very good value for money especially when using a Camping Carnet.
The office staff very polite and helpful.
I would certainly use this site again as a staging point

Returned to the site post covid, again as an overnight stop.
Site staff remain as friendly and helpful as always.
Site has not received any attention and despite being busy, one of the two main toilet blocks were locked, leaving just two toilets for each gender
Would I go back?
Well I had planned to on the way back, but changed sites.
Wouldn't say never, but I will be looking for alternatives

Really lovely site.
Very warm welcome and super helpful couple on check in desk.
We got a pitch not far from the lake and the facilities were a bit tired but all very clean.

Used this site for a short stay on route north from Spain going to Calais. Short distance from main motorway.
Lovely site, well signposted and easy to find, site is on the edge of the village so handy for local services (shops, restaurants, and garage.
On arrival was greeted warmly by the owner, very pleasant lady who speaks very good English and is extremely helpful.
Reasonably priced. Note-the reception office has a small shop selling basic essentials. Pitches well spaced and lots of privacy among mature trees and hedges.
Site provides all the necessary services, the ablutions/showers are a little dated but where fine for a short stay.
Would certainly use again.

Great little site for a stopover on the way South. Seems like most of the visitors use it in the same way as the site clears out most mornings. Facilities are basic, but clean.
Community pool is available for use, across from site entrance. Bread ordering facility at reception, takeaway opposite reception.
Access is good and there is a supermarket with fuel about 10 minutes away in the next town.
Most pitches are shaded, power is French style connector so take adapter

We loved this rustic site, with it’s huge pitches and friendly staff. We found it very easy to find from the motorway.
Unfortunately, we arrived when apparently most of the village was on vacation, but had a lovely evening in Le Rabidot Bistro, which is a short stroll away.
Excellent night halt.
