What a beautiful site this was. The facilities were amazing, watching and listening to the birds was fabulous. Wish we had stayed longer, but fully intend to return.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the larder locker available close by is innovative and provides snacks and hot drinks.
We were so impressed with this site.

An amazing campsite with the sounds of corncrakes due to being on a nature reserve.
Facilities are excellent with everything needed for people travelling around- indoor washing up; chemical disposal- free; washing machine, dryer and drying room.
Showers for £1. 00.
Facilities are the cleanest I’ve seen and encourage users to maintain their cleanliness.
The beach- yards from campsite is dog friendly, though care to keep them under control where birds may be nesting on grassland or feeding near shore needed.
A fantastic place to explore the lovely and interesting North Uist from
Staff friendly. Wish we’d had time to stay here longer.

Small well maintained site next to a nature reserve and beach. Level hardstanding pitches.
Good facilities (showers require £1 coin but give 7 minutes of hot water)
Food van on site - didn't try it but menu looked good.

Only wish we had stayed a few more nights as by far the best facilities we have seen across the Hebridies.
They have really thought about what a camper needs in this sometimes unforgiving climate. Drying room, immaculate shower & toilet facilities.
Wonderful staff.
A fantastic food van on site.
The most gorgeous secluded and sheltered sandy beach.
Don't forget your £1 coins for showers and washing machine and bring fly/ midgy nets and spray.

We booked for 3 nights at this site online in advance, just as well as it was fully booked every night we were there.
The site in on the edge of the lovely Balranald nature reserve, very popular with Birders.
The site is a mixture of hardstanding and grassy pitches.
It is right across from a huge beautiful beach.
There are 2 toilet blocks, which are kept immaculate. Showers are £1 for 7. 5 minutes. In the men's, there is only 1 toilet in each block. The dish wash area is very small and located near reception and is inadequate for the Size of the site. An external dish wash area at the top block would solve the issue.
There is a takeaway shop on site which we didn't use.
We would return.

This is a lovely level site, fairly exposed which meant the breeze kept the midges away.
The facilities are excellent, the Dunes cabin serves lovely soup and the kettle and microwave were very handy.
The beach is fab and we sat each evening to watch the sun set over the sea, which was late given it was June.
The walk across the beach and round the headland is great and I actually saw a corncrake!

Clean and tidy site next to beautiful beaches.
Handy kitchen and snack bar for rolls and tea etc.
Next to RSPB bird sanctuary, so lots of interesting birds and wildflowers. Staff lovely.
You will need midge repellent.

Very well organised site, excellent facilities, lovely cafe serving tasty food.
Great location, only moments from a beautiful bay, ideal for wind surfers.
Fantastic circular cliff walk, watch out for the cows!
Carry on along the coast to another fabulous beach.
Great views of the Monach Islands and St. Kilda, weather permitting.
