 We left an internet message one evening and the next morning we had a phonecall. Great prompt service. Dolydd campsite is great.
Gareth looks after all his guests really well. Giving a great background knowledge of the area places to eat, visit and where the cheapest fuel can be found. He helps make sure your vehicle is level, looking after the lawn for you and others to enjoy safely.
The toilets, showers and dish washing areas ate kept very clean. He has even thought about how you can access the pavement from the campsite with out walking on the road.
Most definitely we highly recommend Dolydd.

Perfectly peaceful site. In a beautiful location. Gareth the owner greets you helps site you and provides levellers.
He also gives you lots of local information and offers his help if you get into any difficulties whilst staying there.
Site and facilities clean.

Dolydd Camping Site provided everything we needed for a night's stay whilst hiking the coastal path.
The site is half a mile from the path and the local chippy which is open 7 nights a week. Arrived to find our electric hook-up already had an adapter attached so we could charge the phones we use to navigate the path (bring your own plugs and leads).
The wooden chalet containing a spacious hot shower and two loos was cosy (bring £ coins for the shower - though one is plenty per shower).
The radio in the chalet played gentle music.
The price was fair and the host, Gareth, very helpful. He has a total understanding of what backpacking walkers need at the end of the day on the path.
Our best campsite on the path on our walk from Garth Pier to Holyhead.

Gareth was really friendly and helpful and gave great info.
The site and facilities were clean and well organised.
I would rather have the cost of a shower added to the price than have to find a £1 coin.

Gareth the owner was extremely friendly and helpful.
The site itself was lovely, quiet and clean, just what we were looking for.
Gareth does a fab job making sure things like soap and toilet roll don't run out. He is installing additional toilets and showers as at times there was a short wait for these things but that's to be expected when so many people are camping at the same time.
I highly recommend this lovely campsite!

Small, friendly, quiet site. Very helpful owner - Gareth - who clearly revels in providing the best service possible to his guests.
Facilities small but excellent - clean, well kept. Good supply of hot water. Toilet tissue kept topped up.
Freezer for your ice packs - free of charge.
Gareth supplied us with EHU to our tent.
Close to village and its facilities.
Additional new shower and wc block on under construction for 2027 !

Lovely site and only a short walk into town.
Gareth is a lovely host and is very helpful with advice and is on hand to deal with any issues.
Limited toilet and shower facilities for the number of pitches but additional resources are being constructed.

First and foremost, Gareth is just brilliant – warm, incredibly helpful and full of knowledge about the local area\. He helps everyone get set up on arrival, and even provides wooden levelling blocks and helps you get the van level\. We’ve honestly never stayed anywhere with such a warm welcome – nothing is too much trouble\.
The site itself is spotlessly clean and really spacious, with plenty of room between pitches so you never feel crowded or on top of each other\.
It’s only a 10\-minute walk into Cemaes Bay, which is a lovely, traditional village with everything you could need for a week’s stay – including first\-class fish and chips and outstanding ice cream\!
The harbour is really pretty, with a beach on either side, and there are some beautiful little bays and coves to discover along the coastal path\.
A really lovely place to stay and a great base for exploring this part of Anglesey\.

Arrived at the site to be greeted by Gareth the owner.
Very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble, offered to help with the levelling of our motorhome.
Facilities very clean no matter what time of day. Nice touch with the classical music playing in the toilet and shower block. Site very well maintained.
Lots of recycling bins, looked to be emptied regularly.
Short walk, around 5 minutes, to Cemaes.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be returning.

I thoroughly enjoyed the one night I spent here. It is a quiet and relaxed place with everything I needed, and a pleasure to be there.
The site owner couldn’t have been more helpful and it was great to meet him and benefit from the local knowledge so I got the best out of my limited time.
I will return. A lovely spot.
