 The owner was really helpful.
The site is extremely well looked after and is close to all the shops restaurants and pubs of Cemaes with it's lovely harbour and beach.
Ideal stop for coastal walkers, so just one night stop for me, but I may come back for a longer stay.
Site facilities, loos showers etc were great, nice Classical music soothing your visits!

I enjoyed everything about my stay here and it was definitely enhanced by the liveliness of the owner.
He was so friendly, kind and helpful.
He keeps the site clean and tidy. You immediately feel relaxed there and I was definitely glad I stayed.
It's an easy and short walk to Cemaes and therefore the coastal path.
I love Cemaes anyway and now I know about this campsite I will be back again and parking up there.

It is a small, but well run site by Gareth, who is ever so friendly, efficient & ever so obliging.
It is my 2nd visit & the standards remain unwavered & improvements have been made, in what was my last visit was work in progress.
He strives to improve the facilities further & knowing Gareth, they will be achieved & further enhance the campsite.

A truly amazing area of the Isle
With a, for us, just perfect campsite
What a location with being a 5 minute walk on to Caemes and 10minutes to the beach.
Back again at the end of the year.

Excellent site. Personalised service by the lovely owner. Very helpful during our stay.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
Very clean facilities and the location of the site a short walk away to the beach and village.
We will return again if visiting the area

A lovely site close to Cemaes with a great beach, shops, and places to eat and drink.
Top marks to the friendly welcome by the Welsh speaking owner.
The lower part of the site is away from the road and surrounded by mature hedges with wildlife.
We strongly recommend Dolydd.

Had a fantastic stay at Dolydd this weekend, our first trip to Anglesey, and we’ll certainly be back.
Gareth was a wonderful host and was so welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Very relaxing site and we had the pick of several pitches. Meticulously clean and so well kept.
Very handy for nipping into Cemaes, and only a 5 minute gentle stroll to the village.
Great chip shop, beautiful pizzas, lovely shops and cafes and a couple of nice pubs in the village.
Great base for exploring the Island too.

A 5 minute walk from Camaes Bay, this is a lovely campsite owned and run by Gareth.
Gareth is a very attentive and diligent campsite owner/manager, he is easy to find as he walks his well kept, neat and tidy campsite.
The camp is located within easy walking distance from the village amenities and beach. The beach is shallow and the sea is not deep, I walked out 50 meters with the water only waist high. There is parking and toilets at the beach along with food stalls.
Cemaes has plenty of food and pub outlets.
We had a lovely stay and there is much to explore. If staying at Cemaes and camping, you cannot go wrong with Gareths campsite.

Stayed for one night in a one man tent with a border collie, while doing the coastal walk. I pitched up without reserving. When I saw the caravan club badge I thought I would be turned away. On the contrary. Gareth is
The most gracious and helpful site owner I have ever met. The other. Mostly van guests were also a delight with Dovey from Biddulph providing me with radox shower gel.
The site is in a great location, close to town, yet quiet and peaceful. 2 fields given over to vans and one to tents. I found a corner in a caravan field. The wooden shower/ toilet blocks were immaculate with 24 hour classic fm setting the tone.
On waking, Gareth made me a nice cup of tea with a chocolate biscuit and bid me farewell.
£15 for one comfy night
The night before I paid a tenner to stay in a farmer's field in Church bay, with a tin hut with a loo and a cold water sink. The owner, Arwyn, was good humoured and commented that it was a pity I was alone, as it is a tenner if you come alone, or bring the whole family.
Will definitely return to resume the Anglesey coastal walk.

Great location, close to town and an easy walk to the beach.
Fantastic customer service. Gareth is extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.
The facilities are nice and clean with a coin operated shower.
