We loved this campsite! Our pitch was perfect. It felt so secluded and private.
The kids loved playing in the river and ‘fishing’ in the pond and there was SO much space for them to run around.
Riley the campsite dog was the big hit of the weekend- he is such a lovely boy!
Sarah was lovely and friendly and we had a really quick responses to emails asking questions ahead of our stay

Reddacleave Farm Buckfastleigh devon Is amazing, our host was amazing, this is an ideal spot for a fabulous chill out.
You can simply walk out onto the moor, home made jam on the farm, and eggs from free range chickens, you can even try your hand at a wild swim.
Only one thing wrong is that my week was too short, thank you
Peter and will.

Just returned from my 3rd stay at Raddacleave and already looking forward to going back.
If you like a basic campsite with peace and quiet and amazing views you can’t go wrong here. Each wild camping pitch is set in its own field with a compost toilet, picnic bench and fire pit. You have total privacy.
If you want electric hook up or not be so remote the pitches next to the farm house are a good size and next to the river. Wherever you camp its lovely.
There are so many great places to visit locally and you can pop into South Brent for all your supplies including camping gas.
The lanes around the camp site are very narrow so not really suitable for larger motorhomes but my camper van was fine( you definitely need to be able to reverse to drive around the lanes).

A beautiful setting for peace and tranquility. My pitch backed onto the river, my dog had the time of her life! Dogs on leads around the site due to the free range chickens. A very friendly lab lives here too and you will need to play with him in the river otherwise you will get the hound dog puppy eyes.
The fields and space took my breath away. All I could hear were birds and the river, I felt like I’d been away for three months not just a night.
Thank you, cannot wait to visit again!

WOW! This truly was a beautiful site, exactly what we were hoping for and more.
Hiking from site on to rugged Dartmoor, we walked to Princetown, Avon Dam is the nearest tourist location.
Hot off grid shower was amazing and extremely clean compost toilets.
Space away from other people, this is a true gem …

It’s not often that I’m moved to write a review but this site deserves every five star review and then some.
Each area is out of site from every other. We could have had five acres of lush grass to ourselves or it could have been ten.
A wave from an occasional fellow camper, driving past to their individual field, and that’s as intense as it gets, once we may have heard another dog bark, and this, an August Bank holiday with a good forecast.
We made a point of popping in to say thanks and goodbye to the farmers, we bought a few preserves, and smiled as we left. We were still relaxed, still smiling this evening as I write this.
A few friends in ‘vans, we went climbing at the nearby Dewerstone, one day, and walked on the Moors to the nearby Avon reservoir - the best man made waterfall we’ve ever seen.
Follow the river for a couple of miles then back around in a circle, a beautiful day out, great fun for the dogs. For the dark skies, the very best of good times.
Thank you

What a total gem of a site.
Well spaced large pitches in stunning surroundings.
Easy access to the moor.
I never relaxed so much on a camping trip, we will be back.
One step away from wild camping, with the benefit of your own compost toilet!
Just gorgeous!

Absolutely stunning camp site - perfect for reuniting with a few old friends.
The communication with Sarah was easy and the 'nearly wild' pitch we booked was drivable meaning we really could rock up and camp.
There was a large picnic bench which was unexpected but very welcome with good, discreet toilet facilities and a lovely firepit with kindling provided (own logs required).
My friends and I had a wonderful time and can't wait to make it an annual occurrence.
Our only regret is that we didn't buy any of the host's jam!

Peaceful campsite in beautiful surroundings with friendly owners including Riley, the gorgeous Labrador.
Was dreading the compost loos as had a bad experience before but these are super clean and in stunning surroundings!
Direct access to the moors and close to Avon Dam.
Lovely village with a co-op and pub a 3 mile walk away.

Interesting drive to the site, not one for larger vehicles, but not too bad. The lady that met us was very nice and helpful and got us sited quickly despite the weather. Not a night for fires and star gazing but could be perfect given the right conditions.
Composting toilets were okay, shower was good, although my good lady did mention she would have been happier with a more robust door to the shower instead of the curtain.
The pitches were well spaced out and there are many fields to use, most are a bit slopy, with some flatish areas. Dogs need to be restrained as there are many chickens running around.
The local pubs don't serve food on a Monday or Tuesday, There is a kebab shop. Some of the shops are closed on a Monday, butcher and chippy, but there is a Co-op and a couple of small independants for supplies.
Perfect site for adventure bikes.
I would definitely go back.
