 Peaceful campsite in beautiful surroundings with friendly owners including Riley, the gorgeous Labrador.
Was dreading the compost loos as had a bad experience before but these are super clean and in stunning surroundings!
Direct access to the moors and close to Avon Dam.
Lovely village with a co-op and pub a 3 mile walk away.

Interesting drive to the site, not one for larger vehicles, but not too bad. The lady that met us was very nice and helpful and got us sited quickly despite the weather. Not a night for fires and star gazing but could be perfect given the right conditions.
Composting toilets were okay, shower was good, although my good lady did mention she would have been happier with a more robust door to the shower instead of the curtain.
The pitches were well spaced out and there are many fields to use, most are a bit slopy, with some flatish areas. Dogs need to be restrained as there are many chickens running around.
The local pubs don't serve food on a Monday or Tuesday, There is a kebab shop. Some of the shops are closed on a Monday, butcher and chippy, but there is a Co-op and a couple of small independants for supplies.
Perfect site for adventure bikes.
I would definitely go back.

From the moment Sarah led me to my wild pitch I didn't stop smiling and my puppy's tail didn't stop wagging.
Nothing but solitude, phenomenal moorland views, surround-sound birdsong, the babble of the stream, a campfire - and a compost loo with a view !
What a privilege and extraordinary opportunity to experience the remoteness of wild camping in the care and safety of such a beautifully kept farm campsite.
Restored my inner Hermit.

Sarah was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed staying at this lovely campsite.
It was good having our own compost loo.
We walked to Buckfastleigh which is lovely, it took about 1hr 20min

I cannot recommend this beautiful place enough, it's clean,
The owner is one of the loveliest people I've ever met and the Farm is breathtakingly stunning.
We had such a great time, we have already booked to go back !
A great place for families, loads of room for our young son to explore, an all round gem of a campsite.

Fantastic site with very friendly, welcoming owners.
Beautiful location with plenty of walking opportunities.
Hot shower, clean compost toilets and just so peaceful.
I will definitely be visiting again.

Absolutely beautiful campsite!
Stunning views and really chilled atmosphere.

Camping in Reddacleave Farm checked all my back-to-basics camping experience.
The pitch my group stayed was secluded and had a beautiful stream nearby and a pond which the dogs loved to dip.
It was relaxing in the evening settling in the camp and to sit around the fire pit.
The mornings were beautiful to wake up to the sound of the birds, trees and the stream.
Reddacleave Farm is by the edge of Dartmoor National Park and is a short drive from the motorway and the nearby town is about 15 minutes drive if in need for supplies from the shops.
The host was friendly and responsive in communication. And helped me with all my queries.
I definitely would love to camp here again!

A really good site if you want to be in a beautiful, peaceful camp, right on the edge of Dartmoor.

This was our 3rd visit and we’ve booked for next year already.
Sarah is amazing as host
What can I say about the site, well for me it’s a little slice of heaven, I’m always wake early and there’s nothing nicer than sitting outside with just the river sounds and bird song, even some of the sheep joined me.
I’m not sure where the days go as I only left the site once in 4 days.
Bought fresh eggs and homemade marmalade from Sarah’s dad
As a group we just cook, eat camp cooked food, play games and chat. Some of the more adventurous ones go off walking on the moors

Being detached from the busy bustling world (even phones) amazing
