Excellent position for walking in to Lynton and Lynemouth, plus coast path walks.

Word of caution. Pitches near the office are very loud (waterfall type noise). 50db with all windows shut.

Very pretty site with an attractive and clean river to paddle and bathe in. Some small trout in it too.

This site is quite small but has facilities you would expect to see on a larger site eg breakfast cafe, small shop and launderette. The facilities were always clean. Site staff were very pleasant without exception.

Lynton is a ten minute walk away and from the site we walked to Lynmouth, The valley of the rocks and Watersmeet cafe. The area is beautiful and both Lynton and Lynmouth are quite unspoilt.

My only issue with this site was the road access which was narrow and busy. Caravans and large motor homes have to pass the entrance and turn around in Lynton car park to enter from that direction.

A road closure making the final narrow approach busier didn’t help.

The site was in a beautiful location. It is a small site which is Nice and you can easily walk to Lynton on a footpath!

There were families with children and campers- hikers but it dus not disturb us. It was rather cosy!

The shower and toilets were clean and fine.

The owners and Staff were very friendly and a absolute bonus is that you can have breakfast in the café on site!

Lovely little campsite by the river and within walking distance to Lynton and Lynmouth - just be aware steep slopes in some areas.

The area is beautiful woodland - ideal for dog walkers.

Cheddar Mendip Heights Club Site

Set in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Mendip Hills. There are 90 grass and hardstanding pitches some with hookup, for tents, caravans and motorhomes. The well laid out site has excellent shower and toilet facilities, including a family room, plus a laundry room and a well-stocked licensed shop selling local produce. Non members are welcome to book!

You can walk to the village of Priddy where you`ll find a popular pub serving food and the Priddy Good Farm Shop, selling a range of locally produced food. There are many attractions in this area of Somerset and the south west including Bath and Weston-super-Mare, and the site is ideally located, midway between Cheddar Gorge and Wells.  Great campsite with best facilities I’ve ever seen! (large rooms with shower toilet and sink in each room!)

Only 5 minute walk to beach, bars and chip shop.

Would definitely stay again 😁

We had a very enjoyable two night stay. Welcomed by very friendly staff. Lovely site with the river running alongside.

Toilets showers and wash basins very new and always pristine clean.

If you walk through the campsite and past the pub, its a lovely 15 / 20 min walk into Lynton, along a wide easy path. Although a fairly short but steep hill at the start and end.

Lynton has plenty of pubs cafes and restaurants, many of them do takeaway. Also lots of interesting small independent shops and even a small cinema.

Other lovely walks nearby, especially a circular walk to Watersmeet.

The pub that is next to the site is very recommended for its beers and delicious Thai food.

All in all a perfect stay which we would definitely recommend.

Amazing views guaranteed to offer you 50 shades of green, and if you are really lucky some blue skies to go with it.

The site is fantastically clean and ran by extremely friendly and professional team.

The shop is small but very well stocked up.

We stayed on the platform next to the river, it can get a little noisy with the sound of downstream water but we enjoyed it.

It is not the easiest site to get to so drive carefully.

Nicely located site next to a small river. Mixture of touring vans, tents and static homes. Facilities good - they look a little outdated from the outside but have been recently refurbished inside.

There is a charge for using the hairdryer provided in the ladies (disappointing as the last site we stayed on provided one free of charge). Site was well set up with dedicated water and power supply.

Dishwashing and laundry area and freezer for icepacks. It's about a one mile walk into Lynton which should be not be attempted down the road - but there is a pleasant alternative path.

The walk to Lynton might be challenging for the less fit / able as it's quite hilly in places.

There is an adjacent pub with Thai restaurant which we recommend - the food was delicious.

Staff at the site were very friendly and helpful.

A really nice place with a very friendly welcome.

Everything is neat and clean.

A footpath goes directly from the square to Lynton.

We can gladly again.

Ein wirklich schöner Platz mit einem sehr freundlichen Empfang. Alles ist gepflegt und sauber. Ein Fußweg geht direkt vom Platz nach Lynton. Wir können gerne wieder.
