We have used this campsite regularly on our visits to Brighton and it is a favourite.
The facilities are excellent and always clean. The hosts are a lovely couple who are friendly and always helpful.
The site itself is lovely and quiet.
The location is excellent for getting around the area with a train station in Angmering for Brighton, Portsmouth or Southampton.
Bus routes available too in addition to a short drive to many local sites.

Great site set in an ancient woodland with only 13 pitches and plenty of space.
We were amazed to find only one other pitch was occupied, so it was lovely and quiet and on our own for 2 of the 4 nights.
Owners were very friendly and helpful.
Toilet and shower block spotless.
Well located to explore the coast and South Downs National Park.

Great little campsite - nice private pitch back amongst the trees, really lovely and helpful owners, spotless facilities, and very peaceful, so ideal if that's what you're looking for.
Close to attractions like Arundel castle, the beach, and South Downs, so plenty to do if you wish.
Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant site in good location with great facilities.
Very secluded amongst mature trees, very level ground with generous sized pitches.
Toilets a showers very modern and spotlessly clean.
I would recommend this site to anyone visiting the South Downs or Sussex coast.

We had a fantastic time at your campsite. It is very well run and facilities were very clean and well maintained.
We had the campsite to ourselves for several nights - which was lovely but it was also lovely to see other campers. We had the best of both worlds.
The pitches were spacious and well maintained and it’s a beautiful setting.
This site does not have play parks or bars or arcade machines but suited our needs perfectly.
The only thing that might have been helpful ( but we knew before we booked) was laundry facilities. But there as a professional laundrette about a mile away, which has very long opening hours. So we weren’t stuck.
The owners Pam and Albert of Acorns campsite were very friendly and helpful.
We would definitely return if we were back in the area.

I love this place.
The glow worms were in the grass, we heard all kinds of birds including woodpecker and owl.
You’re surrounded and shaded by oaks and well screened from your neighbours.
The facilities were spotless.

Amazing little campsite, the sort you want to keep to yourself!
Lovely shaded glades to camp in, facilities were spotless and well appointed. Single sex toilets and showers, two covered dishwashing sinks.
Good communication from the owners.
Perfect location, less than 10 minute drive from Arundel and Rustington, and an easy 15 minutes walk into Angmering, with a pub, cafe, fish and chip shop, Indian takeaway and Co-op.
A little road noise from the A27, but it wasn't intrusive.
We would love to stay here again.

London, Paris, New York, Acorns in Angmering
That good, hell yeah, originally booked a 3 night stay and ended up doing 19!. The site is ideally placed between the A27 and A259, within reach of many major beaches within 30 minutes and has Arundel, Littlehampton and Worthing on your doorstep as well as the village of Angmering with it's bakery, butcher and cofee shop, I rest my case for the perfect day out!.
The site is simply beautiful and a haven for peace and quiet, wrens, squirrels, rabbits and pigeons are frequent visitors and I did even spot the deer on one of the days.
The facilities are limited in number but separate for men and women and meticulously maintained and Pam and Albert are the perfect hosts, available when you need them and invisible when you don't! :)
If you have a bucket list, or even if you don't, put a stay here on some kind of list and make sure you book it early as there may not be many spaces available once people find out about it.

We chose the site based on the good reviews of the sanitary facilities and the friendliness of the owners, which is true, thanks again.
Upon arrival, we were free to choose our own pitch; we were practically alone. This was due to concerns about possible noise from the nearby main road. You do hear the occasional vehicle, but we found the site to be quiet.
Because of the proximity to the main road, all the nearby attractions are easily accessible by car.
We also did a lot of cycling; there are many good cycle routes. Arundel, with its castle and gardens (highly recommended), is very close.
Overall, we would book Acorns Campsite again and can recommend the site

Amazing little site, just down the road from home, but felt like miles away.
Peaceful, quiet and nice and tidy, spaced out pitches and the shower and toilet facilities were the best we've experienced on sites, so clean!
Albert met us when we checked in and was great to deal with, made check in simple and explained everything.
Can easily walk out to Arundel etc from the site, pubs in Angmering village about 15 mins walk away, can't fault the location.
We will happily go back! A gem of a site.

Lovely site. Easy access. Quiet woodland with full sun or dappled shade. First class facilities. Very helpful and courteous hosts.
Village amenities and food one mile away. Great for coast or country access. Arundel five miles away. Angmering station two miles away with trains along coast.
Would recommend Shafiques Indian takeaway that deliver to the campsite.
Highly recommended for Quiet campers. Thank you Albert and Pam for your kind hospitality.

We have been touring now for nearly 50 years and this small site comes highly recommended, it was just beautiful.
Pam and Albert were lovely and were there if needed but just left you to enjoy there site. Toilets and showers were spotless.
You can set up whichever way round you want your van to be. We travelled down from the North East and it was worth the long journey.
Within easy reach of coast and shops.

Lovely campsite, huge pitches that easily provided for our 7. 1m motorhome and small car. Hosts were incredibly nice and accommodating.
A lovely grassed area surrounded by lovely mature trees with options of under tree or open area pitches with EHU. We needed chocks to level off.
Separated male and female washrooms with 2 toilets and 2 showers each with 2 washing up basins in between them. Incredibly clean.
Otherwise a very basic site with a chemical toilet disposal site and bins and not much else. Water tap is a compression type, so couldn't connect our hose to fill our water tank which wasn't great.
It is a gated site which provided a sense of security, however could have done with some night nights on the site. If you want to escape with a book to a quiet place this is the place to go! We certainly will return!
In summary:
We liked:
Great hosts
Lovely location
Enormous pitch
Extremely clean
Needs improvement:
No Wifi
No lights
No Water tap to connect a hose to
