 We arrived on the Tuesday after the Bank holiday for 4 nights. It was our 1st camping trip apart from one jaunt in June to practice with the new tent.
We chose the site based on its location (which is good for Gt Yarmouth and Lowestoft) and the reviews posted here and were not disappointed. We were offered the option of camping in the nearest field which was mainly occupied by families with kids or we could venture beyond the touring pitches into the further field which was quieter. We chose the latter and because we didn't require an EHU had the pick of the field as there were only half a dozen other tents there.
The toilet block nearest us was excellent with 4 hot showers, 4 sinks and 4 toilets all spotlessly clean and complete with humourous cartoons on the walls. The block nearest the reception was smaller and contained the laundry facilities which we used once (good, but bring your own powder).
The tv room has loads of up to date information about local attractions which enabled us to plan our stay.
The only downside I can think of was the washing up area had lots of spiders living in it and they seemed to have a nasty habit of descending onto your head whilst you were stood at the sink!
Overall the site was a joy to stay at and we would certainly visit again next time we're in that area.

Stayed at this site for a week and had a very good time. I agree with some points other people have made, the toilets were clean etc but the whole camping field which had both tents and tourers only had one toilet block containing just one shower and three toilets.
Whereas the other touring section had three showers which seems a bit strange as most caravans have their own showers, but campers don't have that luxury. So therefore there was a hefty queue each morning! Also more water collection points would have been useful as our nearest one was quite a walk away.
Church Farm pub is well worth a visit as they do a very good carvery and the view of the Broads is amazing.
Excellent base for Gt Yarmouth. Useful tip, if going into Gt Yarmouth and dual carriageway busy then head for docks and it brings you out near the Pleasure Beach.

We have been taking caravan holidays for some years now so we have stayed at lots of different sites all around the country, and now we have just spent a week at rose farm and must say this is one of the best we have been on. The toilets and shower block were well looked after, plenty of hot water, private wash cubicles. Even tho the site was full it was still really quiet. We will go back again and would recommend it to anyone going to that part of the country. The Borofamily

Great site. Couldn't fault it at all. Very friendly welcome and shown to pitch straight away. Plenty of room for the kids to play, in fact our son learnt to ride his bike here, what a great achievement! Always someone about to ask questions etc. Perfect for Yarmouth. Great little play area. Would definitely go back. Recommend to anyone.

We can confirm that all the reviews that we read were correct. Rose Farm is a very well run site with fantastic facilities and situated in a pleasant area, with good local shops and pubs.
We chose to eat at the Church Farm freehouse which we can recommend, good food and lovely views.
Rose Farm is a site we will return to, as we all had a most enjoyable stay.

My family and I went camping for the first time on the bank holiday weekend and Rose Farm was definitely the right choice for us. We were met by the owners who are very welcoming and friendly and promptly showed us to our pitch. There was always someone in reception if we needed to ask a question.
The services are great shower facilities, washing up area, play area were all very well kept. The toilets were clean and well kept. There are laundry facilities, a games room and a TV room too for your use. The weather was great which helped for first time campers but I am convinced even if it rained we would have had a great time.
We took a nice walk to Burgh Castle, went into Great Yarmouth to the market and beach and just enjoyed the peaceful view.
Our only regret was that we hadn't book to stay for longer.
Everything about this site was fantastic we (my partner and two children) were so impressed we booked again to go next year.

Once again a faultless stay at Rose Farm. I can only echo what has already been said. This is our third year at Rose Farm, and it is still our favourite site.
Facilities are absolutely spotless, good location and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. There is a small play area on site, and in the village a pub and a Tesco Express. If you go here you will not be disappointed and we will definitely be back again next year!

We have just returned from our 2nd stay in as many weeks. It is an excellent site and we will go again next year.
They were happy to accomodate us with our huge Vango Diablo 900. The toilet block was very clean - right down to the window sills! The site is very well equipped with washing machine, tumble drier and freezer. It felt very safe (barrier key entry) and my children loved the Shetland ponies in the adjoining field!
If you are visiting the Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft areas you have to stay here!

This was the first time we have been camping and it was great. Nice and clean toilets and showers the camp was very big and well kept it had a games room with pool table and some games in there for the kids and a great play ground outside. The owners very helpful with everything we needed. It is very close to Great Yarmouth where there is a great beach and the kids were entertained with the pleasure beach rides and bouncy castles. There are some nice pubs to eat in which have play grounds for kids and it is in close distance to some local shops. I would use this site again and would recommend it to everyone.

I don't think I can say any more than has already been said. We stayed at this site on the back of the reviews on this website and had a wonderful stay. The site owners were very helpful and kept the site spotless. I was surprised at how busy the site was and some of the pitches seemed quite close together but we were lucky to be able to pitch in the field at the far end of the site, the only drawback being the hike to the toilet block in the rain! The pub across the road was awful, definitely give that a miss.

Just returned from our first ever camping trip. Rose Farm is a well maintained site, the grounds are immaculate and the bathrooms are lovely. For our first trip even though it did rain, Rose Farm (Sue) made it very pleasant and enjoyable.
We did not see much of the local area as it was a short stay. Great Yarmouth was nice, you have to drive there but parking is only £2.50 for 4 hours, £4 for more.

I have just returned after spending only one night at Rose Farm with my 3 children.
This was our first ever outing in a tent, but it will certainly not be our last.
What a great place to stay!
We chose the site because of the reviews on this website, as it seemed to offer good facilities without being a 'holiday camp'.
On arrival we found a lovely site with great, clean facilities including excellent showers and toilets. The tumble drier meant that we all had dry towels and swimmers ready for another day on the nearby beach. This was just what we wanted to make our brief stay complete. They even had ice blocks there to top up the cool bags! (donation to RNLI required)
The kids enjoyed their first camping trip so much that not only want to go again, but for alot longer too!
I can only thank Rose Farm for making the experience so enjoyable that we are now all bitten by the camping bug!
We are looking foward to a much longer stay with you very soon!

We have just returned from 10 days wonderful camping, there were 5 of us including my 16 year old son who has aspergers and finds coping with crowded places difficult. Which I mentioned when I booked. We were pitched on deck 2 which was perfect for him as it is a smaller area and to one side of the main area, even though the site was nearly full. It was quiet here, though the campsite as a whole was peaceful, though Sunday there was a lot of gun fire as a group of people were shooting in the woods nearby.
The pitches were of good size, and there are picnic tables dotted around, and when some people left near us we were welcome to move it to our pitch.
The shower block was as good as everyone has said, the TV room, pool room and small play area was next to reception. Most family's with young children seemed to be pitched this end of the site.
We made use of the Tesco Express a short walk from the site, with a hardware store next to that and a Chinese take away.
though we used the Chinese/fish and chip shop up the road from the camp site, don't be put off the appearance of the building as it does look a little rundown, but does serve good food though you might have a little wait as its all cooked to order.
We also had to make use of the chemist which is out of sight down the road to the side of the kings head, just keep following the road and you will find it.
Gorleston is just a short drive away though there is a bus service with a stop out side the site entrance which has a fantastic sandy beach, with a couple of seaside shops and a few take away /cafeteria places.
Great Yarmouth is 20 minutes away with plenty to do, a free firework show at 10 o'clock on a Wednesday night, and a visit to the hippodrome circus shouldn't be missed.

This is a fantastic site! Very clean, Fantastic showers and toilets, Free freezer for ice blocks, Telly room, Loads of info on the area, Small play area and games room, Great washing up areas.
The owners are constantly out and about and often stop for a chat to make sure everything is OK! Dogs are free but they do not tolerate their owners not pooperscooping and have asked campers to leave if they don't!
I will be going back again, this is a little gem of a site!

Just returned home from our stay at Rose Farm, it was one of the best sites i've stayed at.
The two toilet blocks were spotlessly clean, there were plenty of showers which meant no queueing and constant hot water (unlike some sites).
The whole site was well maintained and in a great location, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft are close by.
Our stay for 2 adults and two kids came to £20 per night which is pretty good for a site of this standard.
