june 2002 A nice friendly, clean site. Only one shower / toilet block though. Small shop with minimal items at a good price. Key needed to enter shower / toilet block which can be a pain if there are more than one of you staying together and you all need the toilet at different times !!! Good idea on the gate where a number must be entered on a keypad to gain entry. Close to Shrewsbury centre (6 - 7 minutes by car). Park and ride 200 yards from site. No bar / pub / eating places on site which can be a pain. Also the shop shuts at 5:00pm. Could do with being open longer. Small childrens play area and dog walk. They have a small information room with a small selection of books to borrow. Overall impression: Clean and friendly. More facilities needed. 3 days there was more than enough with the limited things to do. Need more entertainment if I were asked to stay longer. I also thought the prices were high compared to some other camp sites.
