Sweet campsite on the small side but I was happy with that being a single parent to my 6 yr old, I was able to let him go and play and explore without the worry of not being able to see him.
I feel the toilet and shower facilities could of been cleaned more often especially at the moment with covid.
The WiFi only worked in one corner of the field which isn’t ideal for us.
Plenty of activities to do in the local area we spent a day at Knockhatch a kids adventure park which was amazing for the price definitely recommend this

Lovely laid back campsite. Quiet and peaceful, rural surroundings. Very helpful Site staff.
Would highly recommend. Hope to stay again shortly.
Due to covid no site facilities open. Although they seemed good.

Small and friendly campsite with an easy going atmosphere. Many of the guests are enthusiastic regulars. Felt very safe. Good showers.
Lots to do and see within 15 minutes' drive.
Recommended.

Amazing site, so much so that our original 4 nights turned into 8. We went home then came back for another 2! The showers are spotless and powerful which is amazing and constant hot water!
Karina is a brilliant hostess checking your ok with a friendly smile and a chat. Honesty shop blew my kids minds they couldn’t get over being able to serve themselves and just leave the money.
Will 100% return again, in fact I wish I could give you 11/10

Very friendly people.
A quiet and well-organised camp.
Well recommended for anyone thinking of camping in east Sussex.
Just half an hour away from the seaside town of Eastbourne.
Only 45 minutes away from the Seven Sisters country park.

Although slightly concerned about how things would be with covid restrictions I was very pleased with our stay at Cuckoos Rest.
All possible safety precautions are in place and it had no negative impact on our stay at all.
Facilities are clean and well kept and all the kids loved the playground and games room.

This campsite is only 20 minutes walk from Polegate train station, and is also very easily accessible for cars.
Very friendly and relaxed, camp fires are allowed in pits off the ground, and wood can be purchased.
The shop has essentials and freezer for use to freeze ice packs, also has free charging in the shop, but at your own risk. Seemed very safe so no worries there.
Owner is lovely and the showers, toilets, and games room are kept clean.
Thoroughly recommend this campsite.
