A very relaxed site and a good place to stay.

Basic facilities and no showers or shop, so make sure you can manage that, but the owner is very friendly and the site has lovely views and is just a short walk from The Six Bells pub which is lively and has lots of music and things going on.

I'd recommend visiting Farley's House and Garden, about 20 minutes' walk up the road.

Amazing exhibition of photos and a surrealist sculpture garden!

Would definitely come back :o)

We were recommended this site by friends, Andrew the owner was friendly and helpful,

The site is lovely and peaceful and just a short walk to the local pub where they serve good food and have live music playing.

The toilets were clean, the only downside being that the field where they were situated was still very boggy from the recent constant rain.

Other than that we’d recommend this site and shall be returning

The site was nice but basic. We used a hard-standing pitch just inside the main entrance which was large and level.

Electric hook-up worked well for our heater and kettle. It was quiet and dark so we had a good night's sleep.

The toilets were in the second field, a few minutes walk away. There were two outside cubicles with proper toilets. They were very basic but nice and clean.

The Six Bells pub, 5-10 minutes away is a real gem! Great food, beer and atmosphere.

They often have live bands in a separate room.

Beware Google Maps; it still refers to the site by its old name.

A lovely site. The first site ever where the hardstanding was actually level and no levelling was needed.

Andy is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

The waste disposal point was spotless which makes a very refreshing change from some previous smelly encounters !

We will be back Andy, the microlights are waiting too!

 Lovely campsite.

We stayed 2 nights as a family group (6 adults, 6 children 2-13).

There are marked out pitches for hard standing and the tent field is a nice, open, flat space.

We found a corner out of the wind. Kids had loads of room to run around and explore the woods etc.

The toilets are basic, but clean and roomy. There are no showers, but Andy has big plans and hopes to install some soon.

There is a pub a short walk away which does food.

No shops locally so will need to drive or cycle.

Will be back for sure.

Excellent site, we booked three pitches for our campervan and 2 further campervans as we were meeting up with other family members and our 2 dogs.

Andy was really helpful and left us to choose how we wanted to set ourselves up in a family group. Very clean and fields well kept.

Lovely surrounding countryside with a great pub just a few hundred yards up the road, 5 minutes walk away.

Dogs on leads at all times which suited us.

Lovely, peaceful spot, everyone was really friendly.

Very basic so mainly adults with motorhomes which we liked,

Would definitely recommend.

We didn't explore any dog walks as it was very hot but were told by other friends who have camped there that there are some nice local walks

This is our first time using the camp and caravan site. Booking was easy. Andy our host is very friendly and accommodating.

Chiddingly site is very well maintained and well positioned away from main roads and perfectly situated in the countryside.

From our pitch I took a panoramic picture with my phone and the whole vision was a wonderful treeline 360-degree picture.

Pitches are well spaced giving enough space between tents or caravan/campers.

The tent field is separated by a fence and generous in space. Whether you are camping or on four wheels, the whole site is level so no need for levelers/ ramps under the wheels.

Water-points are sparse and toilet facilities are limited. Two toilets and two sinks for washing serve the whole campsite and some of the electric and hard standing pitches.

These facilities will be improved over time, I'm sure. It could be an issue for campers but vehicles fitted with toilet and showers will cope well with this site.

Half a mile away is the delightful Six Bells pub so if you don't fancy cooking, go there. A five minute walk from the site. Our overall experience was great and we would certainly come again.

There are quite a few walks into the countryside via footpaths and bridleways from the site.
