Peaceful and quiet
Nice to have sheep in field next to us (they weren’t there at night so no noise)
Pub nearby-just a short walk, friendly and although didn’t eat the food looked good.
2 toilets in field which now has EHU.
Friendly guy and facilities clean.
Nice big pitches with plenty of grass between hard standing

Really lovely site 😊 Well maintained.
No facilities apart from a couple of toilets up in the camping field.
No showers, but that wasn’t a problem for us as we are happy to use our own shower and loo.
Slightly disorganised (which didn’t affect us at all this visit). Pitches aren’t allocated so if you don’t get there first you may be up in the camping field.
Never saw the owner, but very friendly on the phone.
Overall, really lovely site, would definitely stay again. Great prices

Would highly recommend this site in the pretty village of Chiddingly.
Weather was very wet but it did not spoil our stay here.
Very peaceful site with a great village pub just up the road (5 mins walk), which does very good food. Lovely walks for the dogs.
Andy the owner was very helpful too,
We will definitely be paying him another visit very soon.

Quiet peaceful camp site in the country side easy 5 minute wander to the pub with the dog.
Grass areas under water but hard standing large good and dry on a very wet Christmas weekend.
Eastbourne, Hastings, Tunbridge wells easy reach on good roads. As is the rest of the coast and many NT properties, certainly central east Sussex.

The perfect site for a relaxing short break.
Plenty of space and very peaceful.
There are many walks of various distances straight from the door. No
Thank you Andy for making us feel so welcome.

We stayed on the site under its new ownership for the first time ( we used it 2 or 3 times a year when Jane ran it ) it was no different than before,
The only thing that spoilt it was the crap weather and waterlogged ground ( hardly the owner's fault) as it was so wet we left for home a night earlier than we had paid for,
If we have to return to East Sussex we would use it again.

This is the first time we have stayed on this site since the change of owners and it is clear they have made some improvements.
We stayed on the 5 van hard standing pitches and the grass was recently cut and is was very neat and tidy.
Probably, more importantly, Andy the new owner couldn't have been nicer and easy to deal with.
We will definitely be returning again and again.
