Just back from our first visit to this site. We were attracted to it as they allow camp fires. You can buy wood at only £2 per bag or take your own.
Twelve of us booked for just one night but had such a brilliant time we stayed an extra night. Cheapest site I've been to in a long time (and we go to a fair few) at only £8 per night for a tent with 2 adults - kids are free!
A small site with just one toilet and shower (combined) for females and same for males. Even so as there were just a handful of campers we didn't have to queue.
Dustbins and green bottle waste facilities. 2 rope swings, loads of chicken wandering around, donkeys in the field and geese in the pond. We also saw frogs. The kids loved it!
Lovely friendly owners. The site is next to a busy road which can be noisy at times but this didn't spoil it for us by any means.
We will most definitely be returning and have booked to go again in a few weeks time.
A gem of a camp site if you prefer more basic camping without lots of facilities. We LOVED it!

What a lovely site, small quiet and very friendly. Free range chickens and ducks roaming around, donkeys in the field next door. The facilities were small but very clean with proper toilet rolls and hand towels. The proprieters were very nice and extremely helpful. We will be going back again.

We stayed here shortly after it opened on the 2nd May bank holiday. Its cheap - only £6 for two people in a campervan with hookup.
The lady was kind enough to bring us logs and a fire pit in a wheel barrow right to our van! The firepits are great and wood is cheap.
Its small but not overcrowded as they only book in a small number of people. There was only us and 5 tents.
It's near the road so possibly not great for small children. Road was a bit noisy during the day but was ok by evening. The site is mostly sloped but only slightly.
The toliets/showers are nice but there are only two. We didnt have to queue ever though. They even had nice soft loo roll (with spares!) and soap.
The lady sells eggs, marmelade (carrot and orange was one) and lemon curd. She's happy to listen to suggestions for the place.
Nice small campsite which won't be too noisy for families.
We will go back :)
