This was our first time to this site with our tent, and also first time camping for 15 years. Very friendly site owners make you very welcome, fishing lake looked great although we did not use. Toilet block very clean, although only 2 in male and female, but we did not have to wait, only downfall was toilets quite a walk from tenting area, would be nice to have them bit closer.
This is a working farm, and owners children show all other children staying on site around farm seeing all animals, this we found interesting and all little children loved it.
I would definitely go back, and will recommend to my friends.

We stayed for 2 nights 29-30th August 2008.
We were looking for a remote place near a pub within 2 hours drive of home. I think we found just that.
The site is a working farm with lots of space and a great feeling of freedom.
There is a sand pit for the kid's and a lake for fishing.
The Rose pub just up the road has very good food and some nice ales, but take a torch as the road is very fast.
The mixed toilets and showers are very clean just too small, so there is a wait at peak times.
We loved our short stay and will be going back!

On the spur of the moment, OH dragged me and the kids to this site, I'm saying dragged as he tooks radio controlled boats and planes and met up with some friends here. What a fabulous place, so quiet and peaceful, lovely lake, horses trekking round the outside of the fields in the morning. No playground for the kids, but armed with kites, bikes, frizbies, and footballs they were on the go all the time. Lovely showers, small in number but not a problem and lovely and clean. As this was so local, we are so keen to go back again. Karen and Tom are fantastic people, v helpful (esp when husband flattens car battery). If you do go, you will love it, we did.

Found this campsite via this website and went for it. It was heaven. There were two fields and we were one of only five others staying on one field (think there were about four on the other). To wake to the sound of birds, horses, fish jumping (I never knew they did that) was just blissful. We've stayed at many sites over the years and this was by far the best. If you want somewhere to just dump your kids this is NOT the place, but having said that it was great watching the few families that were there doing things with their kids and flying kites. The owners dad was in charge of the site this particular weekend and he was very helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower block was immaculate, put my bathroom to shame! The site office had leaflets and local menus which was a nice touch. The pub at the end of the lane was cosy and friendly and the food was excellent (home made bread, yum). Ten minute drive into Burnham where there were lots of shops, restaurants etc. We will definitely be using this site again, it makes a great (and cheap) bolt hole from the made rush to working lives and housework.

Just returned from boro waters with our tent. We stayed the weekend with our grandchildren ages 7 & 4. We all had a great time, it is a very quiet site with plenty of space for the kids to let off steam. And a lovely big hill for them to run up and down. The fishing was really good, with the kids pulling perch from the lake almost every time they cast in. Which was really good as it was the first time my granddaughter had fished. The small toilet and shower block were spotless to say the least, with lovely powerful showers. We got a lovely friendly welcome from the owners dad who went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. The only downfall from my point was that there was not a washing up hut. BUT, for £5.00 a night for tents and caravans who cannot complain. There were fresh eggs and veg to purchase on site. And horse riding. All in all we had a really lovely weekend. Thank you soooooo much, we will be back very soon.

Had a brilliant time on the Boro` Waters farm. Karen and Tom are really friendly and helpful. It was really good for the children to run around and feel that they are safe. Plenty of horses to look at as well as waking up to a beautiful view of the lake. The toilet and shower block is a bonus and immaculately clean. Plenty of walks and lovely surrounding villages, the bonus is a smal pub with excellent food at the end of the drive, so with-in walking distance. WILL- BE- BACK- SOON.
