Stayed here for a weekend. Me, husband and 2 kids aged 4 and 6 yrs. This is a very quiet site with fairly basic facilities. There is 1 female shower and 1 male shower and 3 toilets for each, the block is not heated and is basically an outhouse. You pay 75p for a shower using a token that you get from the Farmhouse. They were very hot and not very powerful but did the job.
There is not much for the kids to do here other than run in the field in the middle of the tents and caravans. There are also some animals, chickens, geese, ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs for the children to look at.
There are some beautiful walks locally and the site is very scenic and well sheltered. There is a Londis and post office about 5 minutes walk away and the local pub does nice food at a fairly reasonable price.
If you are after a very peaceful, beautiful site and are happy to forgo the facilities then this place is for you. At £10 a night for electric hook up it was well worth the money. If we didn't have the kids, we would definitely go again.

Have stayed here a few times over the last few years and will be back again soon. Facilities will do nicely - lots of clean loos and hot showers, chemical disposal if you have a caravan. Stunning views of the South Downs and close to local pub in village who do a cracking meal. Very friendly owners and well kept. Lots of ducks and chickens around. Excellent for children to have a good run around and enjoy themselves. Its a nice flat field with plenty of space even on the busiest days.

Stayed here loads of times. Very relaxed family friendly basic camp site. Wonderful people who run the place make you feel very welcome. Basic site = cheap fees - always a big plus! Our kids love this site - it is probably their favorite weekend retreat. Local pub (the Fox)does great food at a good value price, local shop sells essentials, and all the on site animals keep the children very content but do not anger the geese - they rule the site lol. A lovely farm camp site - would recommend to all who want a quiet place to stay and a decent, quiet nights sleep.

Really friendly and laid back site owners, pitches were level and views were ok, can't really comment on site facilities (loo's and showers) as we didn't use them being self contained. However, my one critism would be that caravans seemed to be stored all over the place which sort of made the place look untidy. Apart from that a really lovely peaceful site. Would recommend if you're looking for a peaceful weekend retreat.

We booked for two nights but only stayed the one, really lovely site and very friendly but we couldn't stand the smell coming from the land fill site, it is a real shame, We stayed earlier in the year which was great but the summer heat magnifies the eggy sulphur. Recommended site for spring and Autumn but hold your nose in the summer.

Really like this site. Started camping down here through the summer in a small tent, upgraded to a frame tent, then in Nov upgraded to a caravan. Now we can camp here most weekends, as we store her on the site. We have just come back today from being at the site for the weekend, it's so nice to get away from all the bustle of work etc. we only live in Crawley which is about 30 mins for us. The farmer and his wife are very friendly and really make you welcome, nothing is too much trouble for them. The local shop supplies most items that you would need bread, milk, etc. also the lottery, the shop is also a post office. Further along the road is the local pub which serve up wicked meals and reasonably priced. If you fancy a take-away then head to Henfield - they have a shop that does kebabs, burgers, pizzzas, opp. the pub does fish and chips to take away. Head the opp. way to Upper Beeding and they have a take-away that does all the usual plus curries. The site is very child friendly, my grankids have been away with us and can't wait for the better weather to come, they like the geese and the ducks that roam freely, hence dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Also there is cattle as it is a working farm. The site can get busy especially bank hol weekends so it is best to pre book. Everyone at the site is really friendly, quite a few regulars who like a chat and a laugh and willing to help if you incur any problems. On the whole a welcoming site.

Went to this site for a weekend ended up storing our caravan there. A basic site but very friendly it is home from home for us. We only live twenty miles away it is lovley countryside nice walks good pub a little shop sells nearly everything you need. The farmer and his wife are great it is such a friendly site. £8 per night including electric and tents are £6 per night but electric is not allowed in tents.
There is plenty room for kids to run around and play and the geese are hilarious. But you must remember it is a working farm and respect the rules for safety reasons. Just by the side of the site is a little park with swings and slides. The showers are basic but adequate toilets are clean. It is value for money and everyone is so friendly .There is a nice walk down to the river aran. Henfield is only five mins away and there are plenty shops and bakeries there. We love it. We go as often as possible even in winter .

This camp site is near to us so we use it when we just have to get away for a quick or last minute weekend. As others have said it is a really basic sight and I would not stay there for more than one night because of this. The farmer and his wife are friendly and the kids love the animals. There is also lots of space for the children to run around, etc. The basic level of the campsite is reflected in the price, I am sure we only paid about £6 last time we were there and we'll continue to use it for one nighters.

Basic but friendly campsite in a village near the South Downs. Facilities basic / rudimentary 3 toilets each for men and 3 for women, 1 shower each which is 75p a throw. As two adults we went there to chill out for the weekend but it was very busy with families who I think had come out from Brighton for the weekend. Not that the kids were not well behaved but there was a definite division of people like us and families, toys, paddling pools and frenzied football games around a very tightly packed field. If like us you and a few other of the campers there you are seeing this basic site as a quite get-a-way then perhaps early in the season or on weekdays it would be lovely. For families it is basic but friendly and great for kids as they have petting animals in cages and the site is very safe small. Added bonus is that site is also cheap by usual standards £6 per tent, 2 people and car. Easy access to coast and other Sussex attractions.

As said previous this site is basic at best, clean but basic. Stayed in a pennine camper good rate to stay inc the electric £8:00 per night. Close to village amenities, pub was good decent meals available, and good service. Tranquil location with just the farm as your neighbors. Coughed at the showers @75p a splash but functional. Geese pure entertainment at times. Ok if its the quiet spot you are after
