Super, spacious well-equipped family site. 2 sizes of pitches. We stayed in a larger one which had plenty of room for our 12 man tent, a gazebo and people carrier with loads of room besides. Electricity was available at every pitch. The toilet block/showers/washing up facilities were immaculate and cleaned three times a day with hot water on demand any time. There are farm animals kept around the site and the children enjoyed feeding them leaves and bread. The outdoor swimming pool facility is new with a twisty tube slide and winding rapid river section and it has an excellent indoor pool with baby section and 2 fountains / waterfalls. They had plenty of kids' activities such as football tournaments (full size pitch), tennis (well-kept court), swimming, games, table tennis and a visiting circus the week we were there. They hire out bikes, have a good playground plus a smaller sandpit and play area in a large square in front of the pitch we were at and a tractor and trailer transports children around the site every morning. There is a small onsite lake which is great for fishing with a large grassy area around it ideal for picnics. The bar is friendly with pool, football table, pinball machines, music and internet access; it serves food and there is live music and karaoke once each weekly. Good restaurant and take-away food. Small shop with delicious fresh bread every morning but little else. Shop in village good, 2km and supermarket 5km away. The beach and miniature village museum about 20 minutes' drive away. Excellent value site - peaceful and with facilities to suit most people.
