 This is a typical caravan club site (i.e. more or less faultless) with the usual clean and effective facilities. The showers were particularily fine - any site with power showers always gets an extra few points from me.
There is a reasonably pub/restaraunt beside the site and it's also right next to the Tees barrier and it's fantastic white-water canoeing course.
We only stayed the one night as a stop off when heading home from further south, however we plan to return for a more extended visit in future.

This site is very clean, the shower block you can't fault, there was plenty of hot water, in fact the whole site was immaculate. The friendliness of the staff was great, the real bad point is some of the pitches back onto the steel rolling mill, you can't see it but you can definately hear it from 6am until at least 4pm in the evening, what a shame this spoils the site.

Lovely site, quiet, clean, within walking distance of Portrack Lane where there are many big name shops and some not so well known. You can walk or drive into Teeside park (takes about 25 mins to walk and 5 to drive) where there is a multi screen cinema, bowling, casino, bingo and restaurants galore and shops!
The nature reserve is a nice pleasant place to walk or you can walk alongside the river into Stockton on Tees but it takes about 30 mins.
Also there is a family pub alongside the site which can be handy.

Just come back and had a lovely time.
Everyone is so friendly, it is quiet and tidy and clean. You have plenty of room for caravan, awning and car.
The play area could be a little bigger and I wish they had poop bins on the dog walk. Otherwise no complaints.

This is a lovely site, very quiet considering the proximity to the nearby towns. Lovely and clean and tidy. Great walks around the White Water area and nature reserves. Friendly and helpful wardens.
Just one word of warning, the playarea is small and is filled with horrible dirty gravel. My 3 boys were absolutly filthy in minutes. It gets thrown everywhere, including in eyes and at caravans, and is thoroughly unpleasant. It needs replacing with bark to bring it up to the usual Caravan Club standards!

This site is a caravan club site in the heart of Teesside but don't let the location put you off. When you are on the site you could be anywhere. It is clean, tidy and uncluttered. The facilities are spotless, warm and plentiful. The site wardens are friendly and pleasant. There is a wildlife conservation area alongside the site with an aray of water fowl to watch around the lakes. The site gets its name from the White water canoeing course 2 minutes walk from the site which is nearly always busy so there is plenty to watch. For older kids over the bridge a 10 minute walk away is Teesside retail park, a shopping and leisure area. A large Morrisons and an Aldi for food shopping as well as the usual out of town stores and fast food outlets. Also on the site is a bowling alley, a multi screen cinema, a bingo hall and a casino so evey taste is catered for.
