 Second time here, fantastic peaceful site. Owners are brilliant. First time here in July it rained heavily during the evening we were allowed to go in the leaflet room/library, ended up ten of us in there having a great time.
Toilets and showers excellent, cosy like at home.
Makes a great base for days out around North Wales. We only live 20 minutes away but love the relaxing atmosphere. Lots of wildlife and birds in the area, watched a Barn owl hunting at dusk in the field behind our caravan. Good well stocked 'corner shop' five minutes away in the car.
O2 phone reception fair.
TV good with external aerial.

It has been a year since we last visited this site and we can still highly recommend it. Very welcoming owners, nothing is too much trouble. The site is scrupulously clean throughout and offers excellent value for money. This is a little gem of a site if you want a quiet weekend but is within easy reach of Chester, Llangollen, Cheshire Oaks etc. This is not a site for children as there is no playground or facilities for them. Well worth a weekend (or longer) visit.

Stayed here for the first time this weekend. Small site, owners very friendly and welcoming. A very quiet, peaceful site. Toilet facilities were spotless. Plenty of hot water. There is a small leaflet room equipped with a table and plenty of chairs. Also a heater. Would make a good social room for a get together with like minded people. Within an easy drive is Wrexham, Llangollen and Chester. We visited the White Horse pub in Overton which had good beer and reasonably priced home cooked meals. We will be making a return journey.

Spent a lovely three days at this site. It has toilets, which are kept clean showers and electric hook up. The site have a number of visitors who return and fondly call the site a little Dallas, visit it to find out why. Owners very helpful and friendly. Not a place for children and whilst there is regular bus you do need your own transport to get out and about.

This is a lovely peaceful site, dog friendly, perhaps not suitable for children, family run really nice couple, high standard toilets and showers.
Overton only about 3 miles - nice bar meals in hotel. We had a lovely relaxing holiday here. Plenty shopping in Wrexham.
