 We have stayed on this site before and it was like revisiting old friends. The site has 10 electric hook ups and is situated within easy walking distance to Bellingham itself. The field that you camp in is set away from the main road and is very quiet you come out of your unit and can see hills and fields for miles. The children can help the farmer and learn about the animals on the farm. The site has seen loads of improvements from last year with the toilet blocks being updated and made more user friendly, there is hot water showers, sinks and dishes sinks in both toilets. The best thing about this area is that it is on the way to so many places. We have come back time after time because of the lovely atmosphere and the fact that there are buses to nearby towns and plenty of walks straight off the sight, or of course you can just sit and watch the day go bye literally counting sheep! Well worth a visit.

This site is very close to the centre of Bellingham and actually feels like a larger CL or CS as it's quite small and located in a field behind the owners farm. My kids enjoyed seeing the farm animals especially the (very) free range hens.
There are small basic toilet blocks (2 toilets and 1 shower for the men and 1 toilet and 1 shower for the ladies) with coin-operated showers, several hook-ups, a fresh water tap and a disposal point for chemical toilets. We were their late in their season and the grass in the camping field had been left a bit too long, long enough for wet trouser bottoms on the way to the toilet. There was also a fair bit of farm-yard muck in the courtyard near the toilet block - not a problem during the day but making night toilet visits a bit of a minefield.
Bellingham itself is well located for access to the attractions of Kielder and there are other walks and mountain bike options nearby.

We spent the summer at this campsite. Our daughter had a great time helping the farmers with the sheep and chickens. She has learnt alot about farming and the reasoning behind it.
The campsite is quiet and friendly. The facilities are basic but good. You get plenty of space around you whether you are in a tent or caravan so you can spread out and there is no feeling of stepping on your neighbours toes.
This is a good site if you would like to go sight seeing as it is within easy reach of Kielder, Otterburn and Hexham.
When we stayed we found that the children played nicely togther and shared their toys. The site was always quite by 9pm or earlier, and it had a great holiday feel. We would definitely go back.

We loved staying here because the fields were huge and we felt we were camping on our own. The dog loved playing ball on the field! The facilities were basic but clean and adequate. This is a fantastic area and it was wonderful to stay on a real working farm.

Nice small and quiet site, near village centre. No statics, only tents when we were there which i find a bonus. Toilet/shower facilities very basic but clean. Good location for travelling up to kielder water and plenty of walking/cycling to be done near by.

Very tranquil farm campsite with farm animals. Very warm welcome and assistance. Adequate facilities and close to the village centre. Easy to Hexham, Otterburn (Mill) en good Stopover from or to Newcastle. Well stocked supermarket on walking distance and a great butcher (BBQ meat and advice!) Close to take away & pubs, EH, country views. Good sellection of leaflets about places of interest.
We've planned to return in 2005!

Nice peaceful farm friendly atmosphere, the children loved helping out on the farm. Must see Hareshaw Lin waterfall good walk, well worth it. Would visit site again. Wellies advisable.

Small site very close to all the village facilities, toilets and showers were nice and clean and in good working order.
The web site for this camp site is very informative and accurate.
Good walking country, close to Kielder Forest but without the midges.
Definitley reccomended.
