Second visit to this lovely site. Everything was as we expected, spotless toilets and showers and the grounds were immaculate.
The pitches are well spaced and the location is perfect for us for walking our dog.
Great walk along sea front to Sutton for some fish and chips.
We have been back a week now but going to book again tomorrow for next week for another short break.

Great site - well maintained, all facilities open with extra cleaning etc in place and only 15 mins walk to beach and dog friendly.
Very friendly atmosphere and picked up tips re takeaway deliveries etc and local attractions from regular visitors.
Only thing missing for us was a decent pub within walking distance. We will return 👍🏻

Always a pleasure to return to Cherry Tree. Beautifully kept with pretty flower beds, hanging baskets and neat grass.
Very large pitches and spotless facilities.
I missed 'Auntie Wainwright's' sales area in the information centre this year.
Went into Sutton on Sea, but it got too crowded, so we kept to the beach at Sandiland where we had plenty of room to ourselves.

Beautifully kept campsite, booking in very easy thanks to the lady in reception and wow the toilets are lovely and clean, separate cubicle opposite the toilet which you can lock and have a wash.
Also you can order your newspaper.
Brilliant

Agree with the previous reviewers, the site very clean and well kept. Close to the beach and all the amenities that Sutton on Sea offers.
The site is not dog friendly, the furry kids have to be "exercised" off site on the near by grass verge next to the road.
Each pitch comes with a narrow strip of grass to sit out on. Until either neighbours need to get in their car or staff put their board up asking the grass to be left clear between 9 and 4 due to grass cutting.
All the staff we delt with where great. But some staff very autocratic, doing the rounds each day checking everyone following the rules. On one occasion an elderly deaf couple who had been there 3 days got asked to take down their awning and move their caravan slightly over when the staff member that day didn't like the way they where pitched. On another occasion a chap had just finished putting his awning up and settled down to a drink when he got asked to move as they had put him on the wrong pitch. The site was half empty at the time.
We will be stopping at Millbrook 100 yards down the road for our next visit to Sutton on sea.

Initially enquired via email regarding availability. Very prompt response to my enquiry. Very informative information emailed to me regarding my booking, in respect of site facilities etc. On arrival very pleased with first impressions.
On arrival checked in at reception, provided information regarding allocated pitch, then escorted to the pitch. All staff were very pleasant.
The site was very peaceful and facilities were kept spotlessly clean. Beach was about 20 to 30 minutes walk from the site. Co-op was one of the local supermarkets we used for provisions.
There were plenty places to visit by car, including Skegness.

We stayed here on our way home so just the one night. A lovely welcome in reception and all the information I required about the surrounding area.
We were shown where our pitch was and all the facilities pointed out to us. A nice walk into Sutton on field paths and then the path along the sea front which took us no longer than 30 mins of steady strolling.
The site and stay was lovely and Adult only very quiet. Definitely stay here next time we're in the area

We have just arrived home after a week at Cherry Tree. We chose it for it's location and previous reviews. We were met and shown to our pitch. The pitches are generous and very clean.
The whole site is very clean and well looked after. The toilet block is a real treat with the radio playing whilst you wash. Wonderful. We liked the entry/exit by automatic barrier out and an electronic key to return.
There was no noise as one would expect on an adults only site. The whole experience was as expected, relaxing, restful and approved by the wife. 'we'll come again. ' That will do for me.

I have to agree with some of the positive and lots of the negative reviews of this site as I have very mixed thoughts about it. The site is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and the owners must work extremely hard to keep it pristine.
If you are a none active pensioner in a motorhome or small caravan without an awning or pets then the facilities will be just what you need. However if you younger and active and have a caravan, car and awning then you will have little to no room to sit outside and you may find the list of regulations tiresome. If you also have dogs you may find the restrictions on them are very tight. There is no room for them to lie out on either hardstanding or grass and they will most certainly encroach on other pets either side or through the hedge and on extendable leads. There is also no exercise area for your dogs on site and the area specified off site is a tiny toilet grassed area, without fencing and in the layby directly onto the very fast, very busy and very noisy main road. It's not a site I would recommend for an active dog walker and it is certainly not dog friendly. The focus seems to be on beautiful flower beds and lawns.
